Jewellery workshop - The craftsman at the Jewellery making workshop went above and beyond to ensure we had to finish product that we wanted. the amount of silver was very generous. We were able to make really chunky rings or you could get numerous smaller rings. the staff were all very helpful and kind and it was a beautiful experience, getting out into the villages and coming away with unique souvenir

Fun ring making activity! - Fun experience making jewelry! The staff was friendly and professional. They also helped us make the perfect rings (it's harder than it looks!). I will say there are some mosquitos since it's in a more rural area, but they had bug spray for us which was nice.

you must go! - the event organisers were so generous with their time and were very accommodating of us arriving late! (unpredictable timings of ubud traffic + throwing in a public holiday street event). They spent a lot of time with us and we came away with some beautiful pieces for a very reasonable price, would go again in a heartbeat!

Amazing experience, 100% recommend - I liked this way more than I thought I would! The staff was really friendly and made us feel comfortable. We picked the 1.5h class and it was enough to make two beautiful rings.

Bling bling - It was such a lovely experience. The workers there made us feel soooo welcomed and were very helpful and knowledgeable. Did not realize how much work goes into making jewelry. Recommend this place 100%

Excellent experience 👍👍 - I really enjoyed my day in the village learning some skills to make silver jewellery. My teacher Adi made sure that I finished two beautiful pieces and all the staff were attentive to any needs. The lunch was superb and the location was really special. It was a great insight into a Balinese village and culture.

Fun, but 8 hours too long. - The jewelry making class was a fun activity. The options were for 1.5, 3 or 8 hour class. I chose 8 hours thinking I didn’t want to be rushed. This was a mistake - it was tooooo long! This is the only reason I am not giving a five star rating, 8 hours shouldn’t even be offered. The organizers are keenly aware of ‘how much silver’ was being used- I think most of us thinking of the excursion as an activity, not a quantity of silver received type event. In any case, the people offering the classes were sweet & helpful. It was fun, I made 3 rings. And it was an insight to see how the community worked. It was just too long at 8 hours!

Choose a different jewelry experience - The jewelry class was a fine experience but not one I would do again or recommend. It is very remote - you’ll pass a dozen other silver/jewelry making classes on the way to this location. They are kind (as all Balinese folks have been) but our 1.5 hour class lasted 3 hours. It was clear they were stalling as their electricity ran out but they didn’t communicate they could not finish or polish the rings at any point until we asked at the 2.5 hour mark. Then they told us they were waiting for power to come back on and then told us to wait, they would go to the neighbors. Then after 20 minutes they said they could not do it at the neighbors. We left to go to a nearby temple as they said they would deliver it to Seminyak, where we were staying. The power came on later and then they had us wait at the temple for them. They can’t control the power and it is definitely less reliant in that area but maybe mention it before we arrive, when we arrive, when you know you can’t make the 1.5 hour commitment. We had to sit in rush hour traffic, miss part of our plans, and didn’t even get to explore Taro Village which is why we booked this class in the first place. Afterwards our incredible driver (who we paid an extra $300000 as he had to wait too!) told us there were much better (and cheaper) options that he would recommend. I’d stick to the pros - but again, they were very nice just not quite hospitable.
