Delicious and fun vegan and vegetarian cooking class! - We did the morning market tour, farm tour and cooking class. We had an amazing time and highly recommend it to all travellers in Ubud. The drive out to the market and farm was really nice, travelling through small villages and beautiful countryside. At the market, we learnt about traditional Balinese fruits and vegetables and sampled some local sweet treats. Once we got to the farm we sat down for coffee, fruit and other treats, then we started the farm tour. It was so nice seeing the organic fruit and vegetables being grown and picking our own food to cook with. The teachers were very knowledgeable about all the food, including what we can use as a substitute if we can't find particular ingredients at home. They were also very friendly and funny. After the tour we started the actual cooking. We made around 5 or 6 dishes and all were delicious. We were given excellent explanations and a lot of guidance which was appreciated. My husband and I chose the vegetarian and vegan option, which was no problem at all, we even received a special vegan version of the recipe book to take home. Everything about the day was fantastic, I hope one day I can go back to do an advanced class. I think a cooking class is the best souvenir you can take home from your holiday!

Cooking, eating in paradise - From pickup point to market tour to the farm tour, excellent communication and revealing the tropical fruits, condiments, spices and vegetables we would use in our cooking. Our guide/chef gave us andvanced knowledge to back up the meals we were going to prepare. We were happy that we opted for the advanced course receiving more attention to detail and easily enjoying the preparation of many, many dishes, followed by the best part, eating tasting and amazing, genuine Balinese food. Atmosphere of the farm and kitchen dining area is so peaceful surrounded by the forest. Friendliness of the staff was amazing and the place is beatifully kept and so clean. We have done many cooking classes all over Australasia and this was by far the best.

Incredibly great experience! We would come back any time! - From the meeting point in Ubud we started on time to the market where Ketut explained and showed us everything, which was a great experience and very educational. Afterwards we continued to the farm, which was shown and explained to us after a welcome drink. In addition, we were able to harvest some ingredients for our dishes ourselves. Then it was time to cook. It was always cooked in pairs. Each team was able to prepare every dish of the starters and main courses, which we found particularly great. Wayan explained to us the preparation of all dishes very well and competently. The course is very suitable for vegetarians and vegans and the food tasted incredibly delicious! You also get the recipes so you can cook them at home. We would come back any time!

Fun experience - Lovely location. Fantastic staff - super friendly, very helpful. The class is well organized and a lot of fun. Personally I would have liked it to be a bit more challenging. I really would have liked to have learned something new. But despite that I can recommend. As a solo traveller I really enjoyed talking to the other couples there and I was happy to get out of the tourist craziness of Ubud
