A wonderful, first time experience! - My wife and I participated in this workshop and we had a wonderful experience!
Our teacher, Ketut, was kind, patient and very supportive. We took our time and enjoyed every moment of chipping away the block of wood to end up with a truly beautiful product.
I would recommend anyone that has an interest in art or woodwork should try this out. This is a beginner level so anyone can give it a try. Woodcraft is a big part of Balinese culture and we have a newfound respect for the hard work that goes into sculpting these works of art by hand.
Thank you Ketut and ARMA for providing us with a fantastic experience!

A great experience with an amazing knowledgeable host. - Maduak was a wonderful host and guide at his family home in the artisan village of Mas. He and his uncle were patient and confident to show me and the others how to learn how to carve safely in the traditional Balinese style. I would definitely recommend this to those wanting to experience local arts in a village setting.

Amazing class! Make your own unique souvenir! - My family rated this experience a 5 out of 5! The kids loved the class. It was fun and educational. They wanted to repeat the class again if possible! The instructor was patient and ensured our projects were successful. The class was a great way to create our own one of a kind souvenir to bring home. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Take Home a Wooden Memory - Even if you haven't worked with wood before, this class is a wonderful experience. Wayan is a skilled and knowledgeable craftsman/instructor with a big smile and good sense of humor.
In a little under two hours, he taught my fiancee - who has never once wielded a chisel or mallet - how to carve a pretty hibiscus flower out of a block of wood.
As a bonus, the class admission fee also gives you access to the Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA) grounds, which is a whole experience by itself.

Best experience in Bali! - This was part of our best day in Bali! Wayan was a lovely instructor with a great sense of humour. He was very patient and skillful. My son had a design he really wanted to create and Wayan made sure that happened. The museum grounds were beautiful and so was all of the art. Another bonus is that the museum was very quiet and absent of all of the overcrowded touristy spots. Matour Suksma.

Recommended for art lovers - Great experience and they are so friendly. Recommended, but you must be patient as we took more than 2 hours, almost three and a half.
