As a former professional athlete, I’ve experienced my fair share of adrenaline-pumping activities, but nothing quite prepared me for the heart-racing excitement of jet sprint boating in Queenstown. The moment I strapped into the custom-built, four-seater jet sprint boat, I knew I was in for a wild ride. The boat, designed in collaboration with a World Champion, promised an experience like no other, and it delivered in spades.

The boat roared to life, and we were off, skimming across the water at breakneck speeds. The sensation of flying over the water was exhilarating, and the tight turns and rapid acceleration had my heart pounding in my chest. The course was expertly designed to challenge even the most seasoned thrill-seekers, and I found myself grinning from ear to ear as we navigated the twists and turns.

Meeting one of the founders of this incredible venture was a highlight of the day. Hearing the story of how this unique experience was born during the challenges of Covid added a layer of appreciation for the creativity and determination behind it. The passion and dedication of the team were evident in every aspect of the experience, making it a truly unforgettable adventure.

Conquering the Ultimate Off-Roader

After the adrenaline rush of jet sprint boating, I was eager to tackle the next challenge: the Ultimate Off-Roader. These custom-built, all-terrain vehicles are unlike anything I’ve ever encountered. With four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, they can conquer any terrain, and I was ready to put them to the test.

The off-roader roared to life, and we were off, climbing steep inclines and navigating rocky paths with ease. The vehicle’s agility and power were impressive, and I couldn’t help but marvel at the engineering that went into creating such a beast. The ride was bumpy and wild, but that’s exactly what made it so thrilling.

As we traversed the rugged landscape, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of freedom and adventure. The breathtaking scenery of Gibbston provided the perfect backdrop for this off-road escapade, and I found myself lost in the moment, fully immersed in the experience. Taking Aim at Clay Target Shooting

The final leg of my adventure at Oxbow was the clay target shooting, a perfect way to wind down after the high-octane activities of the day. With the stunning New Zealand landscape as my backdrop, I took aim and fired, feeling the satisfying kick of the shotgun as I hit my target.

The experienced instructors provided one-on-one guidance, ensuring that even a novice like me could enjoy the thrill of hitting clays out of the sky. The sense of accomplishment with each successful shot was incredibly rewarding, and the friendly competition with my fellow adventurers added an extra layer of excitement.
