Sail through the Bay of Gibraltar on our vibrant yellow catamaran, seeking out bands of aquatic dolphins with a marine guide, then ascend the Rock of Gibraltar in a scenic cable car.
Dolphin trip starts several times throughout the day from Marina Bay. Here, you can unwind and soak in the Mediterranean vibe at one of the myriad of dining establishments and bars adorning the waterfront. The scheduled time you select pertains to your dolphin sightseeing. You’re free to use the cable car according to their operating hours, though no reservation is required. However, it’s necessary to pick up your cable car voucher from our Dolphin Adventure offices previously.
Do not miss out on the fact that your Dolphin Adventure ticket also provides you with a 10% discount in all Marina Bay food and beverage establishments.
- You can ride the cable car at your leisure within their opening times, you do not need to book a time for this but it is VERY IMPORTANT that you collect your voucher for the cable car experience from the Dolphin Adventure offices before arriving at the cable car station.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Unfortunately at present the cable car is not completely wheelchair friendly, you will find around 50 steps and un even surfaces at the top.
- To board the boat there are 3 steps at approximately 10cm high each
- Gibraltar is part of the UK, please make sure you have the correct documentation to enter
- Dolphin Adventure and the Cable Car Base Station are both on Google Maps
- On Google Maps the Cable Car listing also has a useful chart showing their peak times

Dolphin watching! - The views were amazing! Great boat staff and saw so many dolphins! The boat trip did not disappoint worth the money! If you have the chance go!

Terrific dolphin viewing trip. - The boat trip was fantastic, we saw plenty of Dolphins, the boat itself was comfortable, not too busy and the guides were helpful and welcoming.
The cable car was a different story, due to the queues and apparent lack of organisation. Once up there the views are amazing and the monkeys were good to see. I’m not convinced the pre paid tickets make it any faster, we arrived approx. 445 having read previous advice but still waited an hour. That has nothing to do with the Dolphin trip though!
All in all I would do the Dolphin trip again in a heartbeat, and recommend this company.

Fantastic!! - Fantastic experience! We've seen an awful lot of dolphins. And the lady who provided us with all possible information did so from her heart. Rarely experienced so well! Highly recommended!!

Pods of dolphins guaranteed! - One of a lifetime experience. Dolphins, and many different species, are guaranteed! The tour agency promised a free 2nd trip if we did not see any dolphins. A definite go! If you come over from Spain to Gibraltar then the border crossing is not an issue. Have a passport or valid national identity card ready and you can go through. There are no actual checks.

Dolphin ride great cable car meh - I had a great time on the dolphin tour however I was told that the cable car was wheelchair accessible unfortunately it's not there are around 20 steep steps to go up plus the cable car itself in my opinion not wheelchair safe as it does jerk and going up I had to hold railing both hands very congested and in my opinion the cable car swayed to much and not stable enough for a Manuel wheelchair.
So both my parents could not go up and. Had to go by myself I will be requesting a refund for this inconvenience
