So many dolphins! - Fantastic dolphin trip, I've been on loads of these over the years in various holiday spots but I've never seen so many dolphins on one sail! They were all around us, swimmimg right in front and under the boat. It was brilliant, highly recommended!

Dolphins dolphins and more dolphins. - Booked on the day with no problems. Went on the 12.30 trip and two boats went out as there was lots of people but the boats were not overcrowded. We were out for about an hour and seen what seemed like hundreds of dolphins, it was wonderful. Staff on board were friendly and informative throughout the trip. Also very knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, from what i observed this company is the best one to go with in my opinion.

Absolutely loved the dolphin watching experience! - Absolutely loved it from start to finish. Saw lots of the dolphins and the boat ride was comfortable and staff great information about the dolphins. Will definitely be returning to Gibraltar and will do the dolphin watching experience again. Cannot thank enough the staff in the booking office for the help on local knowledge when we arrived and needed to solve a problem.

Gibraltar - mountain hiking with dolphins - Great experience! These guys know where to look to find the dolphins 🐬. Actually, many mother dolphins with calfs since the bay of Gibraltar has been a dolphin nursery for ages. Fingers crossed that they continue to get along with the busy 🇬🇧🇪🇸 harbours and the 🇪🇸 oil refinery…

Dolphin watching - Our guide, Miguel was great. He was very knowledgeable, patient and has a good sense of humour. There was an overbooking on our boat trip, but the staff at Dolphin Adventure were amazing and got us on another boat. Naturanda were also very good at refunding us 50% as compensation. It was a genuine mistake, but I would advise travellers to ask for a print out of the boat booking as that is what guarantees your spot on the boat. The trip was comfortable with a break in between plus time to visit shops and eat in gibraltar and best of all we saw loads of dolphins close up. Thank you, Naturanda.

One bad apple soured the whole trip - I don’t usually leave reviews especially negative ones but my experience yesterday is still rankling. I waited overnight to post this review so that it wasn’t done in the heat of the moment but am still very disappointed with the service received. My extended family has had links to Gibraltar as residents and visitors for almost 20 years and we have always enjoyed our dolphin trips with the “yellow boats” recommending them to friends, family, colleagues and anybody else who’d listen but our experience yesterday has soured that. I feel bad as the majority of the staff were excellent as always; helpful, professional and giving excellent customer service. One individual however was so rude, literally shouting at those in the queue while waiting to board without actually giving any clear instructions about where her were supposed to go. I was with my sister, my special needs nephew (a wheel chair user) and my foster nephew. Behind us in the line was a lady with a prosthetic leg using a mobility aid. It turned out we were waiting in the wrong place. Our mistake as it had changed since last year. I saw that the staff member was directing others further down the walkway and asked him if we were in the right place and he said no, with no further info. We prepared to follow the other people down the walkway but at that moment it was busy with people coming the other way. The staff member turned, saw that we hadn’t moved and shouted aggressively that we were in the way and needed to move. The lady with the prosthetic leg asked where he would like us to go? Were we supposed to push our way through the oncoming pedestrians with a wheelchair and a mobility stroller? When we were finally able to move we were apparently still in the wrong place and got shouted at again as well as other passengers who had also failed to follow his “instructions”. At that point my sister informed him he was being rude, and could he please let us know where exactly we needed to be. To which he responded he had already told us three times and he wasn’t going to talk to us anymore. We complained to the member of staff who checked our tickets to board. She was very professional, apologised for our experience and said she would inform the office. Other staff were again very helpful in getting us aboard, unfortunately the hostile environment contributed to my nephew having a meltdown while waiting to set off. I’d like to stress that my nephew is 16 years old, was born on Gibraltar and has been out on the boats at least once a year (with the exception of during covid) with no issues. Again the staff on board were very courteous, polite and helpful in asking if we were okay, and luckily the majority of passengers, at least those we interacted with during the trip, were supportive and understanding. The trip was amazing as always, lots of dolphins seen, informative commentary etc. Once we returned to dock, we were last off the boat. The manager was waiting, whether this was normal or due to the complaint I do not know. However if it was the latter, all I can say that she exacerbated the situation by effectively dismissing our complaint and saying nobody else had ever had any issues with the staff member concerned (staff on board had already said he did not cope well with stress and other people had previously commented on this). Do I understand the instinct to defend your employees? Of course. Are there 2 sides to every story. Absolutely. But to completely dismiss the complaint raised and not even offer a token apology…. Will we be using the service again? No. Will we be recommending to other people? Hard to say right now. One bad apple and all that. Just to add we coincidentally bumped into the lady with the prosthetic leg and her mum later that day. The topic of conversation was unfortunately not the wonderful experience of being out on the water with all the dolphins but the behaviour of the individual concerned , going to show that one negative experience outweighs many positive ones.
