Best of Gibraltar - Easy to book on line with Viator. Get there early to avoid the queues. We did just that and got there 20 minutes before opening time and 2nd in line. By the time it opened the queue enormous. Enjoyed the cable car ride up to the top. Fantastic views over Gibraltar and across the sea. One up there there is a cafe and rest rooms. Its very steep so wear shoes you are comfortable walking in. Enjoyed all the sights, Skywalk, The Angel of St Michael's cave, not to be missed. Also the Ape Den and Windsor Suspension Bridge. The reserve itself is lovely. We walked down back into town. Took it slowly as it was a moderate not easy walk but we got to see lots more of the park.

A workout in Gibraltar - We walked off our cruise ship to the bus stop (#5/10) which was included in the ticket. It took us to the cable car stop where we redeemed our tickets and got the wristbands. Easy peasy!
Then up to the top.
One BIG recommendation would be to walk to the War Tunnels first, as the pedestrian path is steep and would be more easily done in this direction; we came back this way and had a very long, hot walk uphill. St Michael's Cave is marvelous. The roadside signs are pretty poor, and lacking in proper updates as to the distance left to the attractions.
Good walking shoes and lots of water required to do this on foot.

Good value with included perks - A little complicated to get started with need for more than one download but once started it was useful.

Pay attention to instructions! Need to download same day prior to attraction - Once we figured out how to get the email to download( after paying for cable car again) we had access to the attractions up on the rock. It was an amazing experience. Sweaty, happy memorable day!!

Gibraltar - The cable car was awesome and of course the whole visit but for the 1st time disappointed with Viator as we wasted over an hour to find the address red sands street which is a building not where to exchange the tickets. It would have been clear to say at Cable car prepaid tickets. Once the woman at cashier helped us she had to call your office to confirm all went smoothly.

Unclear instructions - First time disappointed with Viator. Unclear instructions caused us to lose valuable time trying to find the point of exchange for our vouchers. Thanks to a very helpful lady at the exchange counter we were able to get our tickets. Hopefully this will not happen again.

No Tram - Because the tram was not running the day we had tickets…
We were unable to enjoy the highlights of the pass!

Beware of the Gibraltar Pass - Not Worth the Money - I strongly advise against purchasing the Gibraltar Pass. It's essentially a money-grabbing scheme with little to no real value. If you're considering buying it, make sure to thoroughly read what's included because there are several major drawbacks that make it a poor investment:
1. **No Queue Advantage for the Cable Car**: One of the biggest disappointments is that the pass offers no advantage when it comes to queuing for the cable car. When we visited Gibraltar, the queue was over 100 meters long. Although the pass can't control the crowd size, the fact that you can’t skip the line or get any priority access means you might end up unable to use it at all. Essentially, you're paying for something that could be useless if you can't even access the attraction.
2. **Limited and Inconvenient Options**: The pass only allows you to choose between the mini bus tour or the cable car, but there’s a catch—the mini bus tour doesn’t start until 12:30 PM, which was too late for us. This limited scheduling can throw off your entire day, especially if you were planning on an early start to explore Gibraltar.
3. **Costly to Cancel**: Be very cautious about the cancellation policy. If you decide the pass isn't for you and haven't activated it, you can technically get a "full" refund. However, this so-called full refund comes with a hefty £15 per pass charge for bank fees and administrative costs. We bought three passes in a single transaction and ended up losing £45, which is an outrageous fee for something we didn’t even use.
In summary, the Gibraltar Pass is overpriced and underdelivers. You’re better off purchasing tickets directly at the attractions or considering other options. Save yourself the hassle, disappointment, and unnecessary costs.

It can hardly get any worse...don't buy it - It couldn't get much worse. We wanted to take the cable car up. Waiting time was over 120 minutes. I wanted to book a bus instead. That didn't work because you had to reserve it the day before. There were lots of buses like that at the valley station. You would have had to pay extra for them. If you buy the pass you lose the flexibility to change your plans at short notice. The seller isn't helpful...

Not worth it - We were deliberating on getting this pass for months before we came to Gibraltar weighing up wether it was worth it or not. We only decided when we got there we were going to go through with it which was a big mistake. My mum has mobility issues so wanted to do the mini bus tour up the rock. I just say our tour guide was lovely and very informative however it wasn’t quite long enough. We only got 15 mins or less at each stop and you don’t visit everything up the rock such as the sky walk or the Windsor bridge, which we still wanted to do. The tour started at 12.30 which meant we didn’t have time to fit any other attractions in before this as they don’t open until around 10 o’clock or later and we had to be at the pickup point half an hour before. When we finished we wanted to go back up the rock to do the above activities we’d missed out so we were going to pay for the cable car up as you can’t do both on the pass. The women was trying to charge us £35 each and we said no we have a pass that allows us into the nature reserve (where the skywalk and bridge are) so we just need return cable car. She said because we’ve already been up the rock we can’t re enter to do those things and have to buy access into the nature reserve again. Instead we decided to go along to the botanical gardens ,which have the conservation zoo inside, only to find out the gardens are free to enter and the zoo shut at 4.30. We had arrived at 4.15 and it was already shut and because the minibus tour ended at nearly 3pm it doesn’t give you enough time afterwards to get to any other activities before they shut. The pass also offers freebies and discounts in shops however I presume you need to buy food to get the free glass of wine they offer but they stopped doing food and 2 of the places at 7pm so that was those out the window. Then the 3rd place we tried was too packed for us to get in so we were unable to even make the most of that. Overall it was a crappy experience because everywhere we went was just a let down all day.
