Fun with gin facts & tasting - We had fun learning the fascinating history of gin, tasting along the way. Peter dived into the most interesting and amusing facts about the origin of the spirit and how its production has changed over centuries. The afternoon was equally entertaining and informative.

Amazing visit with a lot of history and little bit of gin - For some reason only just got round to doing a review! Had a fabulous time hearing about the history of gin, and gin making in Gibraltar. Was in a small of three, including me! Some of the gins would definitely be an acquired taste! Nice little shop with a lot of lovely things. Bought a really nice birthday present for a gin loving friend that sat in my 'present drawer' until November! and apparently was very appreciative of the gift. Even if you not particularly a gin lover it a nice way to learn about the gin making process and the history associated with Gibraltar. Will hopefully be back with my gin loving friend as well worth a visit

An excellent experience and excellent gins - This is one of the best gin tastings and experiences. Lesley was brilliant taking us through the history of gin and each of the Spirit of the Rock gins in a historical context. Each gin is delicious, especially the Campion variety. And the JC cocktail at the end was very refreshing. Both Lesley and Peter were excellent hosts and there was a good selection in their shop at the distillery. There is also a shop on Main Street and in duty free at the airport. Hopefully the gins will be available in the UK soon. I will definitely be back.

So much fun! - This was so much fun and very informative. We learned all about the history of gin making, all while sampling gins from different eras. At the end we were served a delicious cocktail called the "Joan Collins". The significance is all part of the history of gin. 😉 I would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent experience provided by Gib's gin genius and Master Distiller - Gib's Gin Genius Peter Millhouse - Master Distiller at Gibraltar's only distillery - gave an excellent gin experience presentation. Informative, hilarious in places and including six samples and a cocktail to finish. The drinks form a tutored tasting, illustrating both the development of gin and the progress made at Spirit of the Rock. The whole experience can be taken seated throughout and there is a ramp at the entrance to assist access for people with disabilities. My partner's father, who isn't steady on his feet and requires some assistance walking, also got inside with no difficulty. The distillery has been going for about 5 years and has already been acknowledged as producing one of the finest gins in the world (the Campion Gin) and you will of course get to taste that gin amongst the samples that you're given. The focus of the tour is on gin: there are other spirits produced at the distillery (notably the excellent Moon Lizard vodka) but if you want those, you'll find them at a competitive price in a number of local bars. Footnote: There's a shop at the airport for duty free purchases of the distillery's products (so no space taken in your suitcases) and you can pre-order for collection on departure to ensure availability. These products are exclusive to Gibraltar at present and I can guarantee you'll want them!

Smashed It - Learning about the whole process of gin making And the tasting the different types gin of course It would have been more enjoyable however if there were samples of tonics to try with the gin after tasting it neat I think this would be a more persuasive way of converting people to become gin drinkers
