Stunning trip - After arriving in Gibraltar from a cold and wet Bristol a half day sailing on the Starlet of Dover was a real treat. My husband and I went with friends to celebrate a friend's 70th birthday, none of us having and previous sailing experience. John and Alex were friendly and knowledgeable hosts, patiently showing those who wanted to how to sail the yacht. As an experienced skipper John soon directed us to a large pod of dolphins that swam either side of the boat allowing us all great viewing and photographic opportunities. There was a stop for swimming and a delicious tapas meal accompanied with a choice of soft drinks, beer or sangria. A great time was had by all. Thoroughly recommend a trip on the Starlet of Dover!

Fantastic experience - Booked the Starlet for a party of 6 to celebrate my Husbands 70th Birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. John and Alex were great hosts and spent time with us showing hoisting the sailing ropes, steering etc and everyone had a go. We saw a huge shoal of dolphins which swam alongside us. Had a swim and stopped for some sangria and tapas. I cant recommend this trip enough .

Wonderful experience on Starlet of Dover - My family and I had a wonderful time, Alex and John made us feel very relaxed on our first sailing trip. Amazing views and lots to see. Thank you and we look forward to returning in the future.

Trip to remember!! - Amazing day out with the Starlet of Dover. We got engaged on this boat a few years ago and had a the best day, and we decided to go back out again on this holiday and it was just as spectacular this time too. Alex and John are fabulous hosts and excellent teachers. They spent some time with us all showing us the ropes (literally) and patiently teaching us a few tricks to sailing. Whilst we were out we saw the dolphins which was magical, they chase alongside the boat and it’s just so special to see them so up close having fun. It was a great day in the beautiful sunshine, on the ocean, with family and Alex and John who quickly feel make you feel like friends you have known for years. I can’t recommend them enough. We had a spectacular day, made memories that will last a lifetime and we will definitely back again next year!! Thank you!

Just amazing - Absolutely brilliant day, spent my birthday on the starlet and was lucky enough to have dolphins right next to us. Really enjoy being shown how to sail and getting a go at stearing Lunch was super yummy. Alex and John couldn’t be more welcoming nothing is too much trouble

Amazing experience - It's a unique experience and this is the first thing I will do when I go back to Gibraltar we seen so many dolphin and John and Alex where amazing and show me haw to sailing and they welcome us with a nice drink and same snacks I will recommend this to any one who will visit Gibraltar such an amazing and fabulous way to spend time in Gibraltar

Amazing Sailing Experience - We had a really awesome afternoon sailing with John and Alex. We love sailing as a family but are not sailors or very experienced so we were looking for an experience with a fun friendly crew, on a high quality boat and where we could get involved with the sailing if we wanted but also chill and relax. To say we got that and more is an understatement as it was one of the best days out we've had in a while. From the moment we stepped on the boat we were made to feel at home and instantly relaxed. John and Alex are very experienced and knowledgable sailors and we knew we were in safe and experienced hands. It was such a fun afternoon sailing out into the Bay of Gibraltar where we saw so many Dolphins. A real thrill! We anchored off the coast of Spain where we had a swim and relaxed afterwards with tapas and drinks. John and Alex allowed us to join in the sailing and are really great teachers. We had fun at the helm, on the ropes and generally trying to be helpful. By the end of the afternoon though we were very happy to relax on one of the most comfortable bean bags we've ever sat on! There was a danger they'd find us asleep on the boat the next day! Booking was super easy and quick and we were provided with clear and helpful information before we arrived. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon on the water and we will most certainly be returning and hopefully going out for longer than half a day. Thank you Alex and John for a wonderful afternoon.

Absolutely amazing - John and Alex are just the perfect hosts, the yacht was absolutely spotless and beautiful. We had the best time, we found it really interesting and relaxing at the same time. We cannot wait to go again. Well worth the money would recommend it to anyone.

Professional yet relaxed in a way that you feel like you have known them for years. The boat is clean and very comfortable. Informative and educational. We enjoyed a tour but I can imagine that it is fantastic to sail if you are interested in joining the sailing world. I highly recommend them. Thank you ☺️

Perfect birthday aboard the starlet - Had the best day celebrating my birthday on the starlet of dover with my family. John and Alex where the perfect hosts, they looked after us, kept us safe happy and fed with a super yummy lunch. They really made us feel welcome and like they enjoyed having us for the day.
