Highlights
  • Pillars of Hercules - The first stop on this tour is the renowned Pillars of Hercules. Here, you can take in the stunning views of North Africa across the sea. From a vantage point above Europa Point, you’ll witness where the Atlantic Ocean converges with the Mediterranean Sea.

  • St. Michael’s Cave - St. Michael’s Cave attracts thousands of visitors annually who explore its vast caverns with ease, thanks to its accessible pathways. This incredible natural wonder was formed over millions of years by rainwater seeping through limestone, creating a weak carbonic acid that gradually dissolved the rock.

In 2021, St. Michael’s Cave unveiled a new lighting upgrade called The Awakening, designed to enhance the cave’s natural beauty. Experience St. Michael’s Cave like never before with an immersive light and sound installation that reveals layers of history embedded in the rock. The ancient cavern comes to life, illuminating sculptures older than time and uncovering their hidden stories.

  • Skywalk - The Skywalk, once a military lookout, has been transformed into a state-of-the-art glass platform and walkway offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Enjoy an uninterrupted 360º panoramic view and feel the freedom and exhilaration at The Skywalk.

  • Barbary macaque feeding station - Spend some time with the famous Barbary macaques at Upper Apes Den, located at the same elevation as the cable car. These are the only wild monkeys in Europe, residing in Gibraltar’s Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Currently, over 200 macaques in six troops roam the area. According to legend, in 1942, the population dwindled to just seven, prompting British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill to order their immediate replenishment. It is said that as long as Barbary macaques inhabit the Rock of Gibraltar, it will remain under British rule.

  • The Great Siege Tunnels - The Great Siege Tunnels are a must-see, offering a deep dive into Gibraltar’s history under siege. These tunnels were manually carved out of the rock during the Great Siege from 1779 to 1783 to defend Gibraltar against Spanish and French forces attempting to reclaim it from the British.

  • The Moorish Castle Complex (The Tower of Homage and The Gate House) - The Moorish Castle, a medieval fortification in Gibraltar, comprises several buildings and stands prominently on the Rock’s eastern slope. Originally built in 1160 CE, it was later sacked by the Spanish between 1309 and 1333. The ‘Tower of Homage’ was rebuilt in the 14th century by Abu-l-Hasan. Today, visitors can explore the recently restored castle, marvel at its 14th-century walls, and appreciate the achievements of Gibraltar’s first city builders, the Moors. Cannon dents are still visible on the castle walls.

  • Europa Point - Europa Point, located at the southernmost tip of the Rock of Gibraltar, offers breathtaking views across the Strait of Gibraltar to North Africa, including Morocco, as well as the Bay of Gibraltar and the Spanish towns along its coast.

  • Napier of Magdala Battery - The 100 Ton Gun. In the late 1800s, four of these massive guns were constructed by British naval authorities to secure their holdings. Two were built in Gibraltar and two in Malta.

  • Catalan Bay - This picturesque bay is famous for its sandy beaches, water sports, sunbathing, and vibrant fishing village.

  • Gibraltar International Airport - On this tour, we will drive through the Kingsway Tunnel under the airport runway towards the Spanish border, just meters away from Spain. You’ll even get a glimpse of Spanish Customs in action.
