Great tour with attentive and knowledgeable guide - Amazing views with a knowledgeable guide who provided great insights into the landmarks and culture. He took the time to ask our preferences and answered all our questions. We were privileged to have him all to ourselves- a very private tour. He made sure we were okay - that is quite a hike, make sure you have comfortable shoes on - and gave us many options for different paths and attractions. Recommend without any hesitation.

A must if your able to walk a fair distance - Wonderful experience and highly recommend. When we booked it did say if there weren't enough people on the tour it could be cancelled so when we met Stephen my husband and I were so grateful that it wasn't as we were the only ones on it. Stephen is so amiable and easy to talk to. He explained not just the history of the rock to us but Gibraltar it's self. After completing the first leg of the tour he asked if we would like to go to the top of the rock via The Spanish Steps. I wasn't sure at time as the signs did say it was challenging but my husband wanted to go, so that was the route we took. Following Stephen was easy, he stopped whenever we needed to and use each stop to explain what we could see. Sights, caves, history and apes were a fantastic experience. We also went into the tunnels which I definitely recommend. For the price he charges you would be mad not to do this tour, if you are fairly fit as you see and hear far more that doing it alone. My steps count for the day was over 21,000! Trainers and a bottle of water recommend. Thanks Stephen for a great day.

Great Tour - Stephen was a great guide. Although the tour was challenging, he was most patient with all of us and we had many stops to catch our breath. Tour was very informative without overloading us with too much information. I would highly recommend Stephen as a guide and highly recommend the tour.

A must do when in Gibraltar - Fantastic tour from start to finish. Stephen is knowledgeable and patient. Happy to answer any questions and really knows what he is talking about when it comes to Gibraltar. Really happy to have done this tour as I came away knowing a lot more than when I started. Can't recommend it enough!

Great walking tour with Stephen - Walking tour with Stephen was fantastic. We were out for about 3 and a half hours and this took us to the top of the rock, the observation point & cafe. We saw the monkeys and crossed the suspension bridge. Even though it was hot and I am very unfit Stephen made sure I wasn’t left behind. The information given was great and we learned a lot about Gibraltar and its history. Thanks Stephen.

Amazing Gibralter walking tour with Stephen!! - This was amazing!! I did this walking tour with my husband and two children who are in their 20’s. Stephen worked with me ahead of time to tailor a tour to all the sights I wanted to see (the caves, monkeys, back of the island, WW2 tunnels). He was responsive, prompt, informative, interesting and patient (lots of Mediterranean Steps!). My son said this day was his favorite (out of a 3 week cruise). It certainly was among my top favorite days. I would highly recommend a tour with Stephen, he’s fabulous!!

Amazing Tour! - The Upper Rock Walking Tour was amazing! Stephen took us up the Rock on a very warm day in August, which made the uphill walking quite challinging but it is absolutely worth it. Stunning views across to Marocco, Spain, the Meditarrean & Atlantic combined with lots of information on Gibraltar from an excellent and very knowledgable guide. We highly recommend doing this tour with Stephen!

Had a great time with Stephen! - 5 Star Tour with Stephen, but NOT for the out-of-shape. Whew! A whole lot of walking and a whole lot of stairs. Bring water and your camera. Lots of wonderful sites and photo ops. We did a personalized tour, and Stephen was very willing to change/customize on the fly based on what we wanted to do and see. Highlights were of course the monkeys but also St. Michael's Cave. Leave plenty of time and enjoy the trip!

Wonderful Tour - Our guide Stephen was great. We got to see plenty of monkeys, learned alot about the areas history and saw some great scenery! We did this tour on a 95F day, it’s a lot of walking up hill, older folks in our group and those with young children had some struggle. If you’re fit, it’s no problem.

Hiking, not really walking - Stephen was a great guide, very knowledgable and patient. The views were beautiful. We had to walk from the Cruise Port because there are no taxis for a simple ride, they all want to be your tour guide for the day. We would have used the shuttle if we had known, but once we figured that out, we didn't have time to wait in line for it. We probably had one of the hottest days with a few whiney teens (and adults) The 'walk' is mostly up hill, up steps and steep at times. It's really more of a hike and seems like the whole Rock, not just the 'upper'. It's a vigorous activity, even for those that are moderately fit. But if we knew how difficult it would be, I don't think we would have done it and I would only recommend it if you are in great shape. We tracked 24,000 steps and 110 floors that day, sore calves for day.
