The quarters were a self-sufficient town and in 1944 about 2000 people lived here.
During WW2 Hitler spend over 800 days in Wolf’s Lair and this was also the site of an assassination attempt on his life. - Treblinka Memorial - Treblinka II was a German Nazi death camp, located 100km to the East from Warsaw. It operated for 1 year during World War 2 and number of victims was over 800 000. You will not see there authentic buildings because Germans destroyed the camp in 1943. We will start our visit from the Museum where you will watch 2 short movies about Reinhard Action and Treblinka Camp. You will also see there model of the camp. Then we will take a walk to the monument site. Afterwards we will continue to Treblinka I, which was a penal labour camp.You will have a chance to see there gravel quarry - place of slavey work and the execution site.

Sombre but excellent - Brilliant and very educational Wotjek our guide was informative and helpful pointing out additional information along route. Its a long day and huge distance but you get to see a lot of Poland and it’s countryside

Excellent Tour of WWII memorials in Poland. - Visited Warsaw & Krakow in SeptemberOctober 2024. I gave my dates to Anna Ostrowska along with the sights and locations that were my priority. The dates and locations were set up perfectly. The hotels were excellently located, simple, clean and hygienic. The timelines to visit each placememorial was perfectly planned. Best of all was the quality of the guidescompanions for each site. They were specialized for each location. Wojtek for Warsaw, (the city, suburbs, Treblinka) Jadwiga for Wolfsschanze (Wolfs Lair, Hitlers bunker) Anna for Krakow's history, and Kinga for Krakow war memorials (Schindlers Factory, Plaszow Concentration Camp) . Excellent knowledgeable guides, and highly recommended. Also visited the Salt mines, Auschwitz & Birkenau. What a memorable experience, made even better with Anna planning and execution. INTOPOLAND is highly recommended.

Important History - Educational and interesting tours. We learned a lot more about the events of these times and places.
Our guide, Anna, was pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed talking with her and benefitting from her knowledge and experiences.
As sad and somber as the topics are, it is important that we all learn and never forget.
Please note, it is a long drive from Warsaw.

Wolfs Lair - Could not have had a better guide. Unfortunately I’ve forgotten her name but she was very knowledgeable regarding Treblinka and put me in touch with another great guide at The Wolfs Lair. Spent 8 plus hours driving the auto. Whatever she was paid for her time, it’s not enough. L Tracey

A must when visiting Poland - Was a very good tour, Anna was an exceptional guide with so much knowledge. The experience was so insight and the history that was shared was incredible - even if harrowing.
The travel time was long up comfortable.
Wolf lair visit is unmissable if you are wanting to see some amazing sights.

Wolfs Lair and Treblinka in a day - This was a fascinating tour and Anna was a knowledgeable tour guide. Starting with Wolfs Lair and following it with Treblinka was the right order for the tour. Anna was an excellent driver as well and gave us a good historical understanding of the things we saw while driving to the sites.

Sad but great history buff Trip. - Great tour if you are a history buff. Anna was a great guide , very informative about the history of the camp. The tour guide at the wolf's lair was very good , very easy to get along with and knew everything about the wolf's lair. Would highly recommend it if in Warsaw.

A Sombre & Moving Experience - Visiting Treblinka is a moving and sombre experience. It's difficult to comprehend what happened here but its important to understand and never forget. The wolf's lair was also interesting particularly if you're into world war 2 history. It's a long day as the sights are far but a worthwhile endeavour.
