- Rua Conde de Bernadotte, 26 - At the Plataforma show house, the public watches, dazzled, the largest and most traditional show of authentic Brazilian folklore. The show “VAI BRASIL 500 ANOS” tells the story of our racial and cultural roots in typical rhythms, melodies, songs and dances. For almost two hours of show, a cast of graceful dancers and talented percussionists represents, in movements and sounds, the cultural origins of Brazilian popular music, the result of the mixture between Portuguese, Indians and Africans, etc. The show ends with a parade of rich costumes in the colors of the Brazilian flag, green (of the woods and forests), yellow (of the country’s gold and riches), blue (of the sky and the constellation Cruzeiro do Sul) and the white one (of peace), highlighting some important characters in national history. In short, an unmissable program in which the soul of a people is shown in music and dance for tourists from all over Brazil and the world! The platform venue has existed for almost 50 years, always with the same goal, to perform a show to show Rio de Janeiro and Brazil to their guests. The visitor will be able to see a samba show with mulattos, costumes of the samba schools of Rio de Janeiro, based on this several choreographers showing various regions of the country, is a gringo show to see and above all us Brazilians.

Birthday at Ginga Show - The show was good and engaging. Unfortunately, the tour guide arrived thirty minutes late for my pickup. We were also thirty two minutes late for the show. The guide was apologetic.

Ginga Show - I came to Rio for my Birthday. My pick-up from my hotel was 30 minutes late. We were also 32 minutes late for the show. Overall my experience was good. Very good show.
