- Passeig de la Muralla - From the church of Saint Feliu we start a walk to the monasteries of Sant Pere Galligants and the square of the judges, where we see some of the filming locations of Game of Thrones. From here we cross walk along the city walls heading towards the cathedral.
- Girona Cathedral - After crossing the city gates, we come to the cathedral of Santa María, former Roman temple and important filming location for Game of Thrones. Walk of the Jewish Quarter down to Pujada de San Domenech.
- Eiffel Bridge (Pont de les Peixateries Velles) - We cross the Onyar river and see the colourful houses built along the riverside. This is the compulsory selfie location.
- Pals - Drive to the medieval village of Pals (40 minutes) where you have the opportunity to eat unforgettable rice and seafood dishes. After lunch we have a walk of the marvellous historical center with its fortress, the church of Sant Pere and the tower of the hours.
- Calella de Palafrugell - Time to relax and to enjoy the amazing landscapes of Costa Brava and the Mediterranean charms of former fishing village Calella de Palafrugell. Feel free to swim in crystal clear water when the temperatures allow it.

Explore some of the ‘Game of Thrones’ filming locations in Girona’s old town and be captivated by the charm of the medieval village of Pals and the picturesque fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell.
Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Barcelona and travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to Girona, where a walking tour of the city will commence. Discover the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants, the Cathedral of Santa Maria, and the Jewish Quarter.
The journey continues to the medieval village of Pals, where a delicious rice casserole is recommended for lunch before exploring its historic Romanesque center.
The final destination of the day is the stunning fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell on the Costa Brava coast, where visitors can enjoy swimming in the clear waters, basking in the sun, or strolling along the shoreline.

We enjoyed this tour! - My husband and I really enjoyed our full-day tour to Girona, Pals, and Palsfugell with André. Communication with André before the tour was excellent, pick-up at our hotel was prompt, and his SUV was very comfortable. On the drive to Girona, André gave us lots of information about the history of Barcelona and of Catalonia. When we arrived at Girona, we first stopped at a café for cappuccinos, and then started the walking tour of the historical part of the city. André showed us the important sites, and explained the historical importance. He also had video clips from the Game of Thrones, showing the exact spots where scenes from the series were filmed. After Girona, we drove to Pals, where we first had lunch. We enjoyed the lunch special of salad, a seafood rice casserole (like paella), a dessert, and a drink. After lunch, André gave us a walking tour of the charming medieval town. Afterwards, we drove to the seaside town of Palafugell where my husband and I enjoyed free time exploring the beach area. André is exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona, of the Catalonia region, of the places we visited, and of the world in general. He also talked to us about contemporary life in Barcelona today and in the towns we visited. It was wonderful to spend the day with such a knowledgeable local resident!

Great Tour with Andre' - Andre' was very knowledgeable of the area and pleasant to be with. I would use him again to visit other areas that he gives tours for.

Great full day tour! - Our family of 4 (two kids 7 & 9) really enjoyed this tour! Andre's vehicle was very clean. He provided great spots to stop for coffee/snack and lunch. Andre was extremely informative and had in-depth knowledge of almost every topic! Although we enjoyed all three areas, both areas in Costa Brava were absolutely incredible!
I recommend this tour for anyone that enjoys

History and beauty! - Learned so much on a tour with Andre, he is full of knowledge and had so much to share about local and broader European history, putting the sights and beautiful towns in context. Spent a lot of time in Girona, some time walking Pals (as well as delicious local rice-based lunch there) and a quick stop to see the beauty of Calella de Palafrugell. Didn't feel rushed and Andre was also great about offering to take family pics with his professional eye which was a nice bonus as we don't often get pics of all of us while traveling.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! - We did the private-full day Girona GOT and Costa Brava Tour. Our tour guide Andr was simply amazing, friendly and very, very knowledgeable. This truly was one of the best private tours that I have been on. I highly recommend Andr and this tour

Wouldn’t recommend - Our guide told us we were only going to Girona and not to Costa Brava even though that’s the tour we booked. Instead of telling us about the area as we drive from Barcelona he spent the whole ride discussing current politics. We tried to redirect the conversation several times unsuccessfully. He dropped us off at a cafe while he parked the car. When he got to the cafe he told us he couldn’t continue the tour because he had car trouble. He walked us around the city for an hour and then left us to find our own way back. Very disappointing and not as advertised.
