Pleasant chance - Passing by the sign, I decided to take a look and it is without regret! The museum is really complete is interesting for film connoisseurs as well as for a general audience, the animations are well done and we do not see the past time. Beautiful objects are on display and the Audio Guide is directly included in the Award. The Award of the visit which is very low is profitable from the first floor (and there are 3!). I strongly recommend this museum for future travelers to this city!

One of the best collection of pre-motion pictures instruments with amazing interactive displays. - I am a film professional with a good knowledge of the history of cinema and how it emerged form the shadow play. I randomly came across the museum and decided to check it out with my family. It is by far one of the best collection of the magic lanterns and other pre-motion picture instruments that I have ever seen at one place. The audio guide is excellent and interactive displays demonstrate really well different techniques used in the creation of the visual experience. We’ll worth to spend some time there and get a rare view of history of cinema.

CAKE CHERRY - I love cinema and had never seen a collection like this. I didn't choose to visit Girona for the museum that became the icing on the cake of the city tour.

Definitely worth a visit. - Just before leaving Girona after our overnight stay we thought of visiting the museum having seen it mentioned and signposted . Four floors of artefacts and the pioneers from the first of moving animation then beginning of motion picture to the movies as we now know it. Spent an hour anyway but could easily have spent a lot longer as found it really interesting especially with all the articles , pieces and equipment on display plus the informative video clips. Really worth a visit. Mobility issues should be no problem as lifts available to all levels. Introduction video is on first level then lift takes you to 4th then descend each floor of the museum through the years of cinematography.

Exquisite, informative and fun film museum - I absolutely loved this museum. Very clearly laid out. Lots to see and do. Had great fun playing with the digitised magic lantern images. Lots of short films to see. Friendly staff, and a really interesting exhibition on the spectator.
