Alexandria / Giza Tour

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - A Sun Pyramids Tours representative will collect guests from their hotel in Alexandria and transport them to Cairo, approximately 2 hours away, for an exciting excursion to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus.

Great Sphinx - The tour continues with a visit to the Great Sphinx, dating back to the era of Chephren, followed by a visit to the Valley Temple.

Step Pyramid of Djoser - Next, guests will visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant.

The Sphinx of Memphis - Afterwards, the tour proceeds to Memphis, founded by King Menes and the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years. Here, guests will see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

At the end of the tour, guests will be transferred back to their hotel for an overnight stay.

Tour Cairo / Alexandria

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - A Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick up guests from their hotel for a visit to the fascinating Egyptian Museum, which houses artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum boasts a rare collection of 5000 years of art, considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world, with over 250,000 remarkable artifacts on display.

Mosque of Muhammad Ali - The tour continues with a visit to the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque within the Citadel of Salah El Din.

Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) - Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. The tour then moves to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga.

Khan Al-Khalili - The journey continues to the Islamic Cairo area, where guests can explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s historic bazaar. Shops in this area are renowned for exquisite brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more.

Guests will then be transferred back to Alexandria.
