Pyramids day

Pyramids of Giza - We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning in a private air-conditioned vehicle, joined by your tour guide to start the exploration of the day tour in one of the seven wonders of the world.
Giza Pyramids Complex:
The complex includes three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the 4th dynasty 2400 years B.C.
The Great Pyramid:
It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of the Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the great pyramid is 147m, the number of stones used in construction is 2,300,000 and it took twenty years to be built.
The Great Sphinx:
The Sphinx is the largest statue in the world, standing at 73 m. long, 19 m. wide, and 20 m in height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.
The Valley Temple:
A Granite mortuary temple used by Ancient Egyptians for the mummification process

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara Step Pyramid:
It is considered to be the earliest large-scale cut stone construction, it dates back to the reign of King Djoser who ruled Egypt during the 27th century B.C. Saqqara step pyramid consists of 6 steps built atop one another with a height of 62m.

Pyramids of Dahshour - The 1st capital all over Egypt founded by “King Menes”, It occupied a strategic position between Upper & Lower Egypt. Memphis was believed to be under the protection of the god Ptah, the god of creation and artworks. Finally, we drive you back to your hotel in Cairo.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - The Egyptian Museum:
The extraordinary Egyptian Museum came into existence in 1901 to shed some light on the heavenly artifacts and history of ancient Egypt that date back to more than 4500 years.

Cairo Citadel - Salah El Din Citadel:
It served as Egypt’s seat of government till the 1860s, Cairo Citadel is a magnificent fortress. It was constructed during Salah El-Din reign. The construction work started in 1176 and was completed in 1182.
Mohamed Ali Mosque:

It was constructed between 1830 and 1848, the mosque was named “The Alabaster Mosque” because most of its walls were made out of pure alabaster. The mosque is a replica of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.

Coptic Cairo - Coptic Cairo:
Then visiting Old Cairo that known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is Among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family where the spiritual impact of their presence is most felt still; though their stay was brief, for the Governor of what was then Fustat enraged by the tumbling down of idols at Jesus’ approach sought to kill the Child. But they took shelter from his wrath in a cave above which, in later years, the Church of Abu Serga (St Sergius) was built. This and the whole area of the Fort of Babylon is a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. An air of piety and devotion pervades the whole district there. Also There you will be able to visit and Enter the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the hanging church, and the old Jewish synagogue - Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Khan Al-Khalili - Al Muizz Street:
The golden street of Al Muizz street is a maze of divine ancient Islamic art and exotic rare items that dates back all the way to the 10thcentury in very close proximity to the khan el Khalili Bazaar.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
No visit to Cairo is Complete without a stop at the Khan El-Khalili bazaar, the bazaar is the oldest and the most famous in the middle east. It was constructed in 970 AD, the same year as the founding of Cairo. At the end of the day, we will drive you back to your hotel in Cairo in a private air-conditioned vehicle.

Miriam is a fantastic tour guide - Miriam was a star, informative, pleasant and very understanding. She went out of her way to help us get to Luxor when the cmpany we had booked with went out of businesss. Miriam made our 2 day tour very memorable and would recommend her as a guide to anyone taking the 2 day private tour.
