- Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Upon arriving at the Giza Plateau, you will begin with feasting your eyes of the only remaining one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, that is to say, the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops). We will provide you with the necessary knowledge to put you in the context of the event of erecting this massive, gigantic construction. Our professional Egyptologist guide knows them all. He will take you back in time so that you imagine seeing the ancient Egyptians are on duty of building their Lord’s ‘House of Eternity” Go! Touch it! Climb it! Moreover, if you are interested into going inside it, the guide will show you where to buy an extra ticket (optionally) for the possible mission to go inside the largest one in the area, the Great Pyramid of Khufu.
- Khafre’s Pyramid - The earliest usage of this aphorism “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” was by the ancient Egyptians. Now that the son became the new Pharaoh, he acted as great ruler exactly as his father. A massive pyramid had been constructed to please the new pharaoh. It is obviously seen, not as huge as his father’s one, but still big enough to stand as a miracle of its own.
-
Menkaure Pyramid - The Third Pyramid Menkaure (Micrinus)
The new pharaoh had no choice; or rather he had enjoyed the privilege of watching his subjects building him the place where he would rest prior resurrecting and acting as the great shepherd to these people in the second eternal life. -
Panoramic view of the Pyramids - The Panorama of the Pyramids and the endless desert!!
we will have a short car drive to the panorama spot where excellent memorial photos can be taken with all the three pyramids in the background, specifically on a camel back, at the Sahara desert, What else Egypt should be?!!
It is mainly photo stop, in which you can see the pyramids the way you have always dreamt of! -
Great Sphinx - Afterwards, we head towards the Great Sphinx. This statue has the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body and dates back to the time of Chephren. This sphinx was made to guard the pyramids of King Chephren. Next, we visit the Valley Temple which belongs to the funeral complex of the pharaoh Chephren. The temple once functioned as a holy place where the embalmment, purification and mummification process for the pharos’s body was conducted.
Then, we go to a Local Restaurant to try Egyptian food, either Kushary or Falafel. Following the lunch meal, it is time to go home!!!
