Pyramids of Giza - The Giza pyramid complex includes the Great Pyramid (also known as the Pyramid of Cheops or Khufu, built around 2580 – 2560 BC), the slightly smaller Pyramid of Khafre (or Chephren) a few hundred meters to the southwest, and the relatively smaller Pyramid of Menkaure (or Mykerinos) a few hundred meters further southwest.
Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, which was mostly destroyed during the village’s construction.
Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, many of which were found in a well in the temple’s floor by Mariette in 1860.
Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple.
Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was later expanded by subsequent rulers.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara (Arabic: سقارة, Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [sɑʔːɑːɾɑ]), also spelled Sakkara or Saccara in English /səˈkɑːrə/, is an Egyptian village in the Badrashin county of the Giza Governorate. It contains ancient burial grounds of Egyptian royalty, serving as the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis. Saqqara is home to numerous pyramids, including the Pyramid of Djoser, also known as the Step Tomb, and several mastaba tombs. Located about 30 km (19 mi) south of modern-day Cairo, Saqqara spans an area of approximately 7 by 1.5 km (4.3 by 0.9 mi). Saqqara boasts the oldest complete stone building complex in history, the Pyramid of Djoser, built during the Third Dynasty.
Dahshur - Dahshur (often called Dashur in English; Arabic: دهشور Dahšūr pronounced [dɑhˈʃuːɾ], Coptic: ⲧⲁϩϭⲟⲩⲣ Dahchur) is an ancient Egyptian pyramid complex and necropolis, sharing its name with the nearby village of Manshiyyat Dahshur (Arabic: منشأة دهشور) in Badrashin, Giza. Dahshur is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located on the Western Desert plateau at the edge of the cultivated plain. Along with the pyramid complexes at Saqqara, Abusir, and Giza to its north, it forms the pyramid fields of the ancient capital city of Memphis. Dahshur is renowned for several pyramids, particularly Senefru’s Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, built between 2613 and 2589 BC.
