Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - Meet your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Your first destination will be Giza, where you can explore the Giza Pyramids and the famous Sphinx. Then, head to the Panoramic area to see all the pyramids together.
  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Your tour guide will take you to the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the only remaining wonder of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. Walk around, take pictures, touch it, and even sit on it.
  • Great Sphinx - Next, continue to the Great Sphinx, which has the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion. Dating back to the time of Khephren, the Sphinx was built to guard the pyramid of King Chefren. Then, visit the Valley Temple, which belonged to the Pyramid of Chefren and was used for the mummification process before the king’s burial. Afterward, head to the Egyptian Museum.
  • Khafre’s Pyramid - The second-largest pyramid in Giza and Egypt, built for Khafre, the third pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty during the Old Kingdom Period around 2540 BC. Khafre, also known as Chephren, was the son of Khufu (builder of the Great Pyramid) and the grandson of Sneferu, another great builder of Ancient Egypt. The tour includes an external visit, but entering the pyramid requires an additional ticket, which can be purchased during the visit.
  • The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Accompanied by your tour guide, visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum boasts a rare collection of 5,000 years of art, considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are on display, including a dedicated exhibit to Tutankhamen’s treasures, gold, and jewelry, which were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1920s. Return to your hotel after the trip.

I highly recommend this company. You're not gonna find better - If you're going to Egypt, these are the guys to do it with they picked me up at the airport 2 o'clock in the morning. They were there waiting for me. Took me to my hotel. Drove me around town whatever I wanted to do. They were there for whatever I needed with big smiles, they are very knowledgeable.

Don’t wait, book today! - A must see with Ahmed!! He speaks multiple languages fluently and has a wealth of knowledge about the pyramids (and Egypt in general). We had a doctor with us and he included a bonus spot of a Doctor’s tomb just for her. The tour felt complete customize to our interests and he was really flexible with timing so we never felt rushed. Most importantly, he always made sure we felt comfortable, safe and happy at each stop. I can’t recommend him enough. It was so informative and fun!!

Horus Tours Guides make exploring easy! - This has been the adventure of a lifetime for my friends and I. We have been exploring Egypt with our guide Ahmed El Swedy and our driver Mahrous through the Great Pyramids of Giza, camel rides, the tombs of Saqqara, Museums, and shops of the local artisans. We have been safe, well fed, and well cared for. I highly recommend Horus Egyptian Tours for anyone wanting a knowledgeable, safe, and compassionate group of guides.

Alexandria Day Trip - Very good service, we really liked the punctuality and especially the places that our guide selected for our one-day visit in Alexandria, the only thing that can improve is the way of driving, which is usually very fast, I know you are used to it in Egypt to drive like this but, for foreigners it is something that really bothers us, I think this point can be improved a lot, everything else was very good, they were friendly and it was a very pleasant experience.

Egypt was a success trip thanks to this Tour Guide - We had an amazing experience thanks to Ahmed at Horus Tours. From the moment I stepped off the plane he was there to welcome me and show me around the city. He was also great at keeping hagglers at bay. We got to see everything we asked for and he was great at providing the history of many places and artifacts. Thank you Ahmed for making Egypt a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this tour guide.

First time Egypt experience 🇪🇬 - My partner and I were accompanied by tour guide Ahmed, who showed great passion and knowledge of his country, culture , pyramids, sphinx and Egyptian antiques. He was accompanied by his colleague Islam who chauffeured us safely around Giza city and Cairo city. We thoroughly enjoyed the history being shared. For first timers we recommend having a tour guide to accompany you for translation purposes and safety. However, the only downside we have to note, is we were taken to two places that were not part of our itinerary, our guide left us to the hosts of the perfume/oil palace and Papyrus Museum to enjoy a drink before we are urged to purchase their product for an extremely high price in USD. This is something to be aware of when booking these types of tours, it almost seems like a tourist hustle scheme as we noticed other foreigners were brought in aswell shared the same story and ploy to buy. Please note my partner and I bought out of pressure.
