Unique - In July we had the pleasure of taking a private day trip to Luxor with Memnon Reisen, and it was an experience we will never forget. The organization of the tour was perfect from the beginning. We were picked up on time in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and safely accompanied through the day by a friendly, competent driver. The highlights of this trip were numerous: The majestic Luxor temple with its fascinating history and architecture, the impressive Memnon colossus, the legendary Valley of the Kings and the historic working-class town of Deir el-Medina, which offered a unique insight into the lives of ancient Egyptian craftsmen. A special highlight was the invitation to a traditional lunch where we could not only enjoy the delicious Egyptian cuisine, but also feel the hospitality of the local people. The entire day was just fantastic. Inspired by this experience, we travelled with Memnon again in November, this time to Cairo to discover the fascinating capital of Egypt. The tour was as well organized as our first trip. Our experiences in Cairo were unforgettable: the iconic pyramids of Giza, the mighty Sphinx, an exciting city tour that took us to the cultural and historical highlights, and the impressive ancient Egyptian Museum. There we were lucky enough to see the world-famous Tutankhamun death mask as well as the historic Rosetta tablet – a moment that deeply impressed us. Another highlight was the delicious lunch we were invited to during the tour. It was not only a culinary delight, but also a wonderful opportunity to experience Egyptian hospitality. We would like to highlight our guide in Cairo, Adil. With his expertise, his warm manner and his infinite patience, he has brought us closer to the history and culture of Egypt in an extremely impressive way. Not only did he answer every question in detail, but he was also a great photographer who helped us capture our most beautiful moments. Both trips with Memnon trips were perfectly organized and far exceeded our expectations. The high-quality vehicles, reliable drivers and outstanding guides made each tour a relaxed and educational experience. We can highly recommend Memnon travel to anyone who wants to discover Egypt in an extraordinary and personal way. We are already looking forward to more expeditions with this great team!

A perfect day in Cairo - First of all, many thanks to Jakob, our tour guide, for this unforgettable day in Cairo on 15 October 2024! The private excursion with Memmon Reisen is certainly not cheap, but worth every euro. The service was simply excellent. All questions were answered and the pick-up also went smoothly on the day. A tip: You can book additional services on the day. For example, a trip on the Nile or the trip to the plateau at the pyramids. You need extra money for this. I wasn't aware of this. I rarely take a credit card with me on such day trips. Ask Memmon Reisen here in advance. We would book there again at any time. Because here you definitely don't experience a coffee trip with a sales show. We were allowed to decide for ourselves what we wanted to see and for how long.

Again and again. Perfectly organized!!!! - Just great!!! We booked the private Cairo tour from Hurghada with flight. Punctually 4:45 we were picked up and driven to the airport. Once there, our guide Makdi introduced himself and planned our day. He was very helpful and always had an open ear. He only recommended the pyramids to us because it can get very hot there at lunchtime. Makdi explained everything to us about the whole day. And kept asking if we understood everything. He also told us something about the population and its way of life which was very helpful. The whole day was perfectly planned through, but at our pace. The guide took care of us all day, bought water again and again or other drinks on request. Just great. We will come back and then book Luxor and definitely through Memnon Trips. I can only recommend it. No sales tours, just pure culture. PERFECT!! 5stars are not enough for this here you should give 10 stars. TOP!!!

Very well organized and conducted private excursion to the pyramids - As a family we really liked it in Cairo at the pyramids. Our guide, Emras, comprehensively and with a lot of energy has conducted us the amazing story of the construction of the pyramids and through the impressive history of ancient Egypt. You are picked up very early depending on the place and the drive to Cairo (6h, net actually 5h, but with 3 forced stops due to the police, who regularly check the buses). The drivers were competent and helpful, did not speak English or German, but they could. After visiting the pyramids, including the Sphynx, you will continue to the Egyptian museum or restaurant (depending on how fast you get through). Egyptian Museum is worth seeing, but also large and with a lot of relics. At the restaurant you can still get local specialties, but nothing earth-shattering. Unfortunately, we went to Cairo on Friday and the market is not open, but otherwise you could visit the market. The guide as well as the drivers always adapt to the customers and are very polite and helpful. Thank you Memnon for the eventful trip. Next time we will book with you again!!
