Amazing Tour and Unmatched Guide - I was lucky enough to come across Adels services for this full day tour on my second day in Cairo. I can honestly say that Adel is the best guide you will be able to get in the city, where having one is a must. He took on the duties of both driving and narrating the tour, and did so with patience, kindness, and complete professionalism. This was at the end of Ramadan, and Adel did not skip a beat to make sure the experience was unmatched. He is revered by his peers and was willing to share personal anecdotes that made for a truly authentic experience. Adel had a personal hand in some of the excavations related to this tour, and he is the go to person to make your Egypt trip once in a lifetime (even though it probably won’t be once in a lifetime as you’ll be counting the days until you find a reason to come back)

Egypts Gem, second to the Pyramids 😊 - Me and two friends ended up using Egypt Select for our entire trip through Egypt including Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. They even provided transportation. It was incredible and seamless. Our guide was a local and one the smartest and funniest historian I’ve ever met. Ask for Waheed. I’ve never had a better tour guide. 10 out of 10. For small affordable group tours, they are the best. I feel so fortunate I was able to avoid those 20+ groups going through the temples with a guide that likes to hear his voice. So grateful for my experience in Egypt. Thank you 🙏🏼

A renowed Egyptologist for a Guide - amazing !! - Dr. Youssef is not just a guide but a renowed Egyptologist and we were fortunate to have him do this tour for us. He was the Director of Dahshur excavations and we couldn;t have asked for a better 'guide' if we wanted! This was hands down the best tour we did in our entire trip and his knowledge is understandably heads and shoulders above the usual touristy guides.
We were so impressed that we wound up booking him for our museum tours as well.
I cannot recommend him enough - we absolutely hit the gold mine on our trip to have two full days with him and could see how respected he is everywhere we went with him.

Egyptian experience - Adel is the most fantastic knowledgeable tour guide you could ask for. I did this trip and also Cairo Museum, Old Cairo and the Coptic church trip on a separate occasion. Adel encourages you to ask questions to truly understand the history of ancient and modern day Egypt. He tailor made my experiences by slightly altering the tours so I could get the best experience. Highly recommend

Great guide to have in an amazing country. - Our guide Adel was very informative and had extensive knowledge of the sites we visited. They were very flexible and we spent more time at some sites and less at others which is what we wanted. Thank you for a great experience!!

Very flexible tour - I liked the flexibility here so I could focus on the Dashur pyramids, my main attraction and neglect Saqqarah, since I am going to visit it anyway.
Also the guide was keeping the fog issue in his mind, which gave us a better view of the landscape after some time. He knows how to provide for the best experience.

Fast paced and rewarding! - We were fortunate to have Adel as our guide for the day. From the moment he picked up, we were impressed by his knowledge of not just Egyptology but just about every place we passed by on our tour. I particularly enjoyed his commentary on Cairo’s development and contemporary society. He is also a great conservationist!
Because this is a more in-depth tour than most, we were able to visit lesser visited sites with few other visitors. A highlight for us was the Serapeum of Saqqara, which is as impressive as many pyramids, in my opinion. The tour is fast-paced but felt pretty in-depth. We never felt rushed. I have no hesitation having Adel lead our next excursion.

Interesting and memorable - Our tour guide Adel 's expert knowledge of the history of the places.
During our tour that day is was not very crowded with people and the weather was mild.

Well worth visiting with Select Tours - We had a great day out with Adel who is also the owner of the company and even helped with the restoration works at some of the sites! These sites are no where near as busy as the pyramids and equally as impressive so would recommend if you have time in Cairo. Only feedback is to make sure you ask Adel to take photos for you - he’s more than willing to do it but he’s less energetic as a photographer vs. some of the other guides in Cairo.

Definitely recommend - I was able to get inside both pyramids in Dahshur. The guide was very helpful, and showed amazing hospitality. I was able to go inside the Stepped Pyramid and Unas Pyramid as well. Thank you Youssef!
