Great time in Egypt - Excellent 9 day trip arranged by our travel agent for Aswan, Nile cruise, Luxor, Kom Ombo, Valley of the Kings and Cairo. The local transfers were handled by "Egypt Promotion" and all of their local staff took Excellent care of us all the way from airport gates to hotels to attractions. Everything happened on-time. The staff spoke reasonably good English and were super helpful. Samara at Cairo was punctual, courteous and helpful. They stay in close communication with you via WhatsApp and respond promptly to any questions you post. Everywhere in Egypt people were polite. We never felt insecure at any time in any way. I would recommend Egypt highly.

Pyramids of Giza and Museum - I highly recommend this trip, it was a great experience. Being a solo female traveller I was worried about safety however my guide Abdulrahman Mohamed and the driver Mohamed Ragab were very professional and they went out of their way to make me feel safe and welcome. Abdul is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. He explained everything in detail and had easy to remember and playful references for the names of the sites, Kings, Queens and artefacts. The car was clean, air conditioned and always on time. Abdul and Mohamed went out of their way in making the trip a memorable one, making sure that I got the best deals at the market and the shops. The highlight of the trip was a detour to downtown Cairo for a bowl of khoshary and rice pudding.👌🏾😍

Great Day at the Pyramids and GEM Museum - We had an amazing day with our guide, Abdulrahman Mohammed. He showed us the pyramids and the GEM museum, and shared so much interesting history in a way that was easy to follow and really fun, he made sure we dont get overwhelmed as the museum is huge but made sure that we covered the most interesting and important bits. His knowledge of Egyptian history is incredible and second to none, and he added humour throughout, which made the tour even more enjoyable. He was also very professional and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We had a great experience from start to finish and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting.

Our tour guide Karam was the best. - The tour company’s representatives were fantastic and made the arrival into Cairo through immigration snd onto our hotel a breeze. Whilst staying in Cairo we visited a lot of the attractions including the pyramids and the museum and our guide Karam was incredibly informative and had a great sense of humour. Thank you for making this part of the tour so good.

Our incredible family trip to Egypt - Our family trip to Egypt was absolutely incredible, thanks to the amazing team who guided and supported us throughout. Every step of the journey was handled with care and professionalism. Special thanks to Samara, who warmly welcomed us in Cairo and went above and beyond when our return tickets were cancelled — staying with us the entire time and doing his best to help us sort it out. In Aswan, we were greeted by Zain, who made everything run smoothly and even arranged a cruise cabin upgrade with a breathtaking Nile view — a true highlight! Khaled gave us a brilliant tour of the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum, sharing fascinating stories and taking incredible photos we’ll cherish forever. Ahmed, our guide in Aswan and Luxor, brought ancient history to life and made the experience fun and interactive. His attention to detail, cultural knowledge, and photography skills made every moment memorable. We also had a short but great experience with Hassan, who accompanied us to the local market and was always available when we needed assistance. All four drivers were excellent, getting us safely to and from each destination. Only minor feedback would be improved communication around schedule changes. Otherwise, the team was phenomenal. Highly recommend this agency — we left Egypt with full hearts and unforgettable memories!

An exciting adventure! I felt safe and quite frankly like a VIP with them. Thank you! - Ibrahim and my tour guide, Hisham, were honestly the best. They pick me up from the airport, receive me from inside, help me out with my visa purchase, and I also private had a private car take me to my hotel. The next day, I got picked up from the hotel to go visit the great pyramids of Giza and later to the Egyptian museum. As a bonus I got to also see how they made the papyrus paper. I felt very safe and they were very professional. I loved Egypt very much!

Host Samara deserves a promotion - This was my first time visiting Cairo, Egypt and the host, Samara, made it a spectacular experience. He got in contact with the members of the travel group that I was a part of prior to us arriving in Egypt to introduce himself. This was a foreshadowing of the high level of communication that I came to expect from him throughout the duration of the trip. Samara went above and beyond to provide each guest in his group with special gifts throughout the trip to ensure that we had everything that we needed. He is extremely knowledgeable on the processes to ensure a smooth transition for each guest from and to the airport, during each tours, and to prepare us for upcoming days and activities during the trip. He is extremely professional, efficient, and yet exudes a demeanor that put all the guests at ease and trusting of him. He is also very funny, which all made for a grand time during my visit to Cairo. I recommend Samara for greater duties and a promotion within the company he represents at the first opportunity. Every host should aim to be more like Samara.

Good tour and guide but beware of overpaying for meals not included in package! - We had a few tours with our guide Abdulrahman Horus Mohamed. We visited - over the course of a few days - various places such as the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum. Alexandria and the Khan Khalili market. These were all tours managed by the same company. Our guide Horus was very good and he really knows his history. He guided as very well through all the sites with detailed explanations. He also tried to make as comfortable as possible and the tours generally went very smoothly and efficiently. Kudos the to Horus and the drivers who took us to all these exciting places. However, one downside was when meals were not included in such tours. Here, the guide took us to places that pre-arranged meals were waiting for us. For example, in Alexandria we went to a seafood restaurant with a set menu - thus we had no choice or say in what we could eat. The meals were greatly overpriced and the quality of seafood was average. In fact, we were still hungry afterwards. Something similar happened when we went to Khan Khalili where we mentioned we would like to try some shwarmas. The guide had shwarmas arranged for us at a specific restaurant - again, we could not choose what we wanted ad also first have a look at prices! Thus when we arrived at the restaurant, the shwarmas were ready but at 3x the normal price! We again grossly overpaid. I am not sure what is at play in these cases but please beware of this! Thus, our advice would be to skip recommended meals or restaurants by the guide; firmly insist that the guide take you to a restaurant of YOUR choice where YOU can select your own meals and not be grossly overcharged for average meals.

Egypt Promotion Beware - 12 Day Egypt Tour The Good: - Historic Sites - Accommodation & Resort on the Red Sea - Food - Tour buses used - Airport assistance The Bad: - Our tour guide Randa. Saleswoman more than a guide who pushed the excessive number of OVERPRICED options - Tour overloaded with 17 options. The original TripADead documentation only had one option - Long days of travel (because there were so many options) meant tiring days, having dinner as late as 9:30pm, missing out on the Nile cruise post-dinner entertainment, getting to bed early to manage the next long day on the road - "Mandatory" $USD10pp/day upfront tip (which we refused to pay) was outrageous for a developing country. And who knows where the money went. I am a seasoned traveller and this was my second time in Egypt. I do not recommend this tour.
