- Pyramids of Giza - Our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will meet and transfer you from the hotel to Giza Plateau to visit the impressive 3 Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure which are guarded by the rock-cut statue (The Sphinx). The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world that is still standing today, although it is 2,000 years older than any other wonder on the list.
- Great Sphinx - (The Sphinx) the rock-cut statue
- Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Then you will go to witness the Complex of Saqqara which belongs to King Zoser and his step pyramid which is considered the first pyramid in Egypt and the first rock-cut building in the history.
- Pyramids of Dahshour - After that heading to Dahshur. The pyramid field of Dahshur lies about 10 km south of Saqqara. The pyramids here include the famed Bent and Red Pyramids built by the 4th Dynasty king Senefru (father of Khufu, builder of the Great Pyramid). The Bent Pyramid is the second funerary monument of King Senefru’s Complex after the Meidum Pyramid. the reason for its shape it was originally designed to rise at the angle of 52°, this was decreased to 43.5° partway up, and a girdle was built around the base, apparently because the foundations were unstable and the angle too steep for safety. The Red Pyramid, Seneferu’s third funerary monument, is the first successful true (straight-sided) pyramid ever built. It’s called red because of the reddish color of the stones used in its construction.

Truly tailor made for you! - We just completed a 10 day tour with Egypt Tailormade. Right at the outset, Walid was very helpful in coming up with a trip plan, providing helpful suggestions, and giving very timely responses. When Air Egypt canceled our Aswan flight, he calmed us down and quickly provided an updated plan. Our tour included private car, fullday Cairo visit, Saqqara, Alexandria day trip, 3 days in Aswan (Abu Simbel, Kom Ombu) and 2 days in Luxor.
The tour started with an airport pickup - a representative rushed us through immigration and customs and we were in the hotel in no time. The next 10 days were spent going around all the great monuments and tombs. The drivers were ready to pick us up right on time and the guides were not only proficient in English but also very knowledgeable about the history. They not only explained us the rich history of all the sites but also took great care of us guiding us to restaurants or takeout places depending on what we were looking for that particular day. Mohammed, our guide in Aswan and Luxor, even picked us up after hours to drop us at a restaurant because he didn’t want us roaming the streets in the night :-) (the streets were perfectly safe though).
Special shout out to Heba for guiding us in Cairo. She’s the best guide I’ve been with so far! She is not only full of information but also funny and caring. She became a part of our family by day two. When she learnt our friend was celebrating their birthday, she arranged for a Nile cruise and as a surprise had a cake delivered to the boat! Heba, you’re the best!!
Every aspect of our vacation was seamless thanks to Egypt Tailormade and we were left to experience the awe and splendor of Egypt. Highly recommended!

Well time managed, informational, and entertaining tour of the Pyramids. - We started the tour at 7 AM from our hotel in Zamelk. Our tour guide Sabry was waiting for us and this was the first good sign that the tour is going to be excellent. We followed Sabry's recommendation to visit Giza, Saqqara, and Dashur in order. This turned out to be the best recommendation. We avoided school crowds in Giza on Friday. Sabry was knowledgeable on the history and was very pleasant to have a conversation. He optimized the time very well and took a lot of good pictures.

Fantastic people and experience - Mr. Ahmed Zaki is a league of his own! He has incredible wisdom and knowledge of the history of Egypt and its people. His recommendations on the sequence of the sites is the best, the styles resembles storytelling along with visits… something unique!! He is highly respected within the travel community & he knows everyone everywhere.
I had lost my phone at the very start of the visit. Mr. Zaki and our driver Mr. Gadaffi went above and beyond to help me retrieve it! If it was not for them, I would have never seen my phone again!!
Mr. Gadaffi is another gem of a person. He helped me get water upon my arrival at the airport the night before, drove extremely well, helped us get really good fruit at the road side (delicious guava and fresh dates!).
The patience and warm friendliness the two gentlemen treat you with is what makes your travel experience so much better!
We had a great day one in Egypt, looking forward to continuing our journey!

Incredible Tour with Sabry and Mustafa! - Our tour of Cairo was fantastic, thanks to our guide Sabry and driver Mustafa. Sabry provided deep insights into the pyramids and Sphinx, enriching our understanding with fascinating historical and cultural details. He also recommended amazing local restaurants and helped us navigate Egypt’s culinary scene. When it came to shopping, Sabry was a lifesaver—his negotiating skills saved us 50% off souvenir prices, even though I’m fluent in Arabic! Furthermore he explained dynamics in Egypt in significant detail helping us feel more immersed in our time here. On top of that, Sabry is a fantastic photographer—he pointed out the best spots for photos, ensuring we captured incredible memories of our trip. Mustafa, our driver, expertly navigated Cairo’s chaotic traffic, getting us to each location quickly and safely. His smooth driving made the entire experience stress-free.
Together, highly recommend these seasoned tour guides for your Cairo adventure!

2 Days in Cairo - The tour was really amazing - Reda, my guide, made the trip feel very personal and provided lots of information at each site and during the drives.
It was a busy day, but well worth it, especially if you have limited time in Cairo (I was here on a 2-day stopover). I recommend going into all of the pyramids if you are able.
Reda was also my guide for my second tour - a trip through historic Cairo. Everything was personalized and professional. I highly recommend Reda and these tours!
