Amazing Piramids and Cairo experience - The trip was a really good experience. Transport arrived on time, the guide was a pleasure to listen to and he always was asking if there is everything fine. The restaurant that we stopped at to eat served amazing local food.

Amazing experience - I highly recommemd it! The tour was well organized, we did not encounter any problems or issues while visiting and the view was spectacular. I also recommend the best period to visit is in May when it's not really hot

The good and the bad - This was an amazing day, however a much longer day than what was originally stated. First the good points- The bus was on time for Pickup ✅ The company contacted us the day before to say hello via WhatsApp ✅ The Egyptologist (Anna) was incredibly, such a lovely woman, her English plus around a thousand other languages was excellent ✅ We felt safe throughout, even if busy areas in Cairo ✅ The buffet restaurant was far better than we originally thought it would be, based on other restaurants in the area ✅ Now it’s red cross time- The perfume shop.. box standard Egyptian hard sell tactic which entailed 18 of us awkwardly sitting around waiting for the “Pitch” the end so we can all politely walk out ❌ This lead to the tour bus not being ready, so stood outside on the street in Cairo for roughly one hour waiting with no information from the organisers as to why ❌ This was a 23 hour excursion, not to say this is a bad thing, but definitely not what was stated in the description ❌ I understand no-one can predict things such as heavy traffic, people being late etc but please please stop the “hard sell” stops, this in general with put off European tourists. However we had a truly great day, thank you so much 😊

Long day but worth it!! - The tour was awesome. Our English guide Hannah was very attentive, knowledgeable and protective. Several translators on one bus. The museum was interesting although some items are being transported to the new museum near the pyramids but the Famous King Tut display was there. SURREAL! (no pictures allowed in its separate security room but everywhere else in the museum) lunch was delicious! Pyramids? Sphinx? Priceless! Take extra money to tip, purchase snacks or use restroom at rest stops and for the optional Nile cruise (good pictures and music), papyrus institute and fragrance experiences. Well organized pickup and drop off.

Please read before you book - This trip was horrific!! There was no communication between host staff and passengers! Do not think for one minute the travel will take approx 6 hours!! Try 10 hours each way!!!! Once there we were rushed around the museum by our English tour guide who started an argument with another guide, this was totally unprofessional especially as we were already running so far behind and in his words had no time to wander around!! We had no time what so ever to take in the museum and we weren’t allowed to look around the gift shop either! Next onto the Nile which was optional, we chose not to do it, in fact a lot chose not to but a lot of pressure was put on to pay the extra money to go two bridges up the Nile and back probs about 20 mins… next papyrus museum this was ok but again a lot of pressure was put on to buy stuff there. Then lunch! Surprise surprise this was rushed too. Next the pyramids! We had to pay extra to get a ride up to the panoramic photo site where we spent 5 mins getting pictures then back onto the coach, very quick stop to take a picture of us touching a pyramid then power walk to the sphinx which was a walk by photo op and back onto the coach! No time what so ever to walk around or even go into the pyramids! Then the last stop of the day 10 mins in a perfume shop and back onto the coach! 8.5 hours for the return trip!! With having to do a multi hotel pick up and drop off the day in total was 26 hours with one food stop and a breakfast box provided by our hotel! My advice is not to book with this lot and wait until you get to your resort! As far as I am concerned I paid £135 to sit on a coach! This was supposed to be an experience of a life time and it was just a day of tears and disappointment!

Shocking!! - I booked this trip for my husband and I and our two children (age 13 and 11yrs), we were collected from our hotel in Makadi Bay by a mini van around 12:30 at night and headed to hurghada to meet the larger coach to take us to Cairo. Just after pulling away from picking up another couple in hurghada around 1am our mini van was involved in a car accident, it's was quite a bad smash as the car that his us was a complete right off and our minivan was crumpled at the back and to the left side. I was sat at the back left of the minivan with my two daughters next to me. On impact all 3 of us were jolted forward and back banging our heads on the back windows and chairs in front. We were all in shock and my daughter's were crying and shaken up. Not once did the driver of the minivan ask was everyone ok, we were not spoken to at any point! It was dark and we were in the middle of hurghada not knowing what to do or where to go. After about 10 mins another van came to transfer us to the coach. At first my husband refused us to go with them but we were assured the big coach was 5 mins away and we would be safe on the coach. We felt we had no choice but to go along with the rest of the group or else we would be stranded with our children in hurghada at 1am in the morning. The drivers of both the minivans were on their mobile phones for the whole time we were driving. Even after the crash the second minivan we were in must have taken a wrong turn to meet the big coach and pulled over to the side of the road then reversed and drove the wrong way whilst there was on coming traffic! I've honestly never felt so unsafe in all my life! Once we were on the big coach the children did feel safer and were able to sleep on the way to Cairo. We did continue on our trip and we did enjoy our day due to the fact that our guide Mohammed was the most loveliest person and fantastic. Tour guide to make us feel at ease for the rest of the day. My children and I had a headache and stiff neck for a few days. We contacted the company and were told because we completed the tour then they did their job and offered no support or were not sympathetic at all. We asked for a copy of the report from the crash and were told that their driver was not to blame for the crash so they weren't prepared to give us a report. I find the whole aftercare and customer service appalling, especially as children were involved!!
