Good fun! - We had so much fun it was our layover in cairo, and we booked this tour to see the pyramids. I feel like the camels on this tour are also treated very well, while I saw many others where I would have not participated in the camel riding! We got picked up and cruised around. We did not buy anything in the oil and painting store

Private tour! - A cool private tour only for you. Mustafa and Mohammed were nice! Even if the explications were lacking, they were both really accommodating. We had some problems with the quads, they were not working properly and turning off every few meters. Hope it was only a no day! For the rest, a good private tour through Giza and the pyramids.

Strongly dissatisfied! DO NOT RECOMMEND! - The tour makes it seem like it’s all about the pyramids and the quad ride, but we can assure you that’s not the case. First, our guide Mustafa claimed to have a degree in Egyptology, yet all we got was a five-minute, elementary-level explanation about Egypt’s history—delivered while we were still in the car. Once we reached the pyramids, it was all about taking photos. Whenever we asked questions about the pyramids or the Sphinx, Mustafa either ignored us or made jokes about the theory that aliens built them. At this point it would have worked better to just have watched a 10 minute documentary on YouTube instead of taking a guide. After only 20 minutes at the pyramids, we were rushed to a camel ride. Sadly, the camels were visibly mistreated, with scars from whips and burn marks. When we expressed our discomfort about riding the animals, both Mustafa and the driver Mohammed mocked us, and this continued throughout the trip. They repeatedly pushed for tips and made jokes about tourists, treating us not as people, but as walking wallets. They clearly had no interest in providing a meaningful experience—only in extracting as much money from us as possible. We’ve been on numerous tours in various countries, but this was a different level of poor treatment. After less than an hour at the pyramids, we were rushed into a shopping tour. This was a complete waste of time, with overpriced shops clearly in league with the tour operators. They likely get commissions from anything we would have bought. Do yourself a favor: don’t buy from these shops! You can get the same items in Cairo’s markets for a fraction of the price—literally 1/10th. The quad ride was mediocre at best. It was more about taking pictures than anything else, and one of our quads kept stalling because they forgot to refuel it. We had to stop every 80 meters to deal with the issue. After the tour, they heavily pressured us to leave a positive review while still in the car with them during the drop-off. The level of pressure made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe, which likely explains why there are so many glowing reviews—they’re written while the guides are sitting right next to you. On a positive note, they did drop us off at our requested location instead of our hotel. In summary: if all you want is someone to take photos of you while you visit the pyramids and ride quads, then this is the tour for you. But if you’re hoping for a guide who will actually teach you about the history of Egypt and the pyramids, it’s a hard pass.
