- Pyramids of Giza - One of the seven wonders of the world, featuring the pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. These structures stand as a testament to the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization, which dates back over 4500 years.
- Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The pyramid of Khufu is the only one of the ancient seven wonders that still exists today. It was the tallest building on Earth for more than 3800 years. The complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Although the site has not yet been excavated, diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered. With your expert Egyptologist, you will be able to explore the entire area. (Please note that entering the pyramid requires a special ticket, which your guide will be happy to assist with).
- Khafre’s Pyramid - The second tallest pyramid in the complex is dedicated to King Khafre. The entire complex is well-preserved, and with your Egyptologist, you will explore the valley temple and the causeway of King Khafre. (Please note that entering the pyramids requires a special ticket, which your guide will be happy to assist with).
- Menkaure Pyramid - The smallest pyramid on the Giza plateau, now standing at about 61 meters high. Menkaure’s pyramid is unique because the granite outer layer still remains on the lower part of the structure. The granite was quarried from Aswan, over 900 kilometers away from Giza!
- Panoramic view of the Pyramids - Next, visit a panoramic viewpoint of the six pyramids and the city of Giza. You will have 10 minutes to take photos and enjoy the view.
- Great Sphinx - With the same entry ticket to the pyramids area, you will get a close-up look at the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the pyramids with the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre. You will have ample time to take photos, with assistance from our guide, who are also expert photographers.
- Nile River - Later, embark on our 5-star boat for a two-hour tour where you can enjoy the splendor of Cairo lit up at night while dining on a traditional Egyptian meal. The menu includes a salad buffet, two main dish options, and dessert, featuring both Egyptian and international dishes to suit all tastes. To make the evening even more special, enjoy a show that includes belly dancing, whirling dervishes, folk dancing, and live music. After the cruise, we’ll take you back to your hotel.

Amazing full day tour of Giza & historic sites - An amazing way to spend the day. We got to see everything on our list- the pyramids, ride a camel, go to the bazaar and so much more. It was a full day but done efficiently and thoroughly from start to finish. Highly recommend for a day of great sites and beautiful history. Our guide, Ahmed el Swedy was very knowledgeable and helpful as we navigated the sites, sharing great history and information. Our driver, Mohammed was quick and safe and our favorite in all our time in Egypt.

Ahmed's Education, Enlightenment, and Passion is Unmatched - The Saladin Citdal is located atop a hill right outside of central Cairo, about a 10min. taxi ride from Tahir Square. It Citadel complex is made up of several mosques, including the impressive Muhammad Ali Mosque. And while the complex has an austere beauty, one of my favorite parts was the view of Cairo from above. The royal mummy visit at the Museum was very interesting to see and they had well written signs to describe the mummies on the lower level. The main floor was arranged chronologically and went over Egypt's history from prehistoric times up to today. They also had a nice room that goes over Egypt's textile and modern royal family history. We appreciated that there were signs and descriptions for the majority of the museum. There is a gift shop and cafe that sell a good range of items at a fair price. Ahmed was a fantastic guide. Extremely knowledgeable on all things Egypt. I would highly recommend you use him in the future.

Amazing 2 Days - As our group of four only had 2 days free for sightseeing, we decided to hire a tour guide and a driver. We were so lucky to have Ahmed and his driver Matham show us around Cairo. Ahmed is both knowledgeable and personable. We always felt safe with Matham at the wheel and really feel that although our sightseeing time was limited we maximized our experience thanks to Ahmed.

Great times in Egypt! - We used Ahmed for 3 days of excursions. He was fantastic. We saw the pyramids, rode camels, 2 museums, several churches, several mosques, bazaar, memphis, saqqara, etc. Lunches every day were great. His driver, Islam, was fantastic too. Cairo traffic is horrible.... it was no worries for us with Islam driving. They showed up on time every day and we never waited for anything. Ahmed's knowledge of Egyptian history and artifacts was very thorough and impressive. All in all, it was a great time and I cant say enough good about Horus Egypt Tours. I highly recommend them.
