Best experience - What a day! I had an amazing time, and had the best guide. It was so informative and a fun experience. Hazem was great - so knowledgeable, friendly and to top it all, a great photographer. If you can, ask for Hazem when you do your booking.

Omair has made us live the best journey of our life. - We are a group of 9 Erasmus friends. We decided to go to Egypt (El cairo) but we weren’t quite sure what the trip would look like as it was something totally new for us. From day one Omair came to pick us up at our house with a modern and very comfortable van. The road to the Pyramids was fun, we sang and chatted until we reached the complex. Along the way he explained the whole history of Egypt to put us in context so that once we reached the pyramids we understood everything well. Once in the pyramids, he was very professional in all aspects, we did not have to wait at any time as he had everything well planned and planned, so we did not waste time. Omair explained to us the whole history of the pyramids, the pharaohs, their beliefs and their customs, as well as the different theories that explain their construction. He told us which were the best places to take pictures and also helped us buy souvenirs at a fair price. In addition, thanks to his experience we were able to ride a camel in the Pyramids enclosure at a very affordable price. Consequently, and for some other bad experience with other guides, we decided to contact him on our last day to hire a boat ride on the Nile. He found us the best price for this activity, picked us up punctually at the hotel (as usual) and once inside the boat, he worried at all times that we were not missing anything; he got us the best table to enjoy the show. He then took us to the top of the boat to sing and dance. Once the ride was over we got a van from the agency and asked him to accompany us to do the last shopping before returning. I had no problem negotiating for us to find the best price. Leaving aside the professional side, Omair has seemed to us to be an exceptional person, with a huge heart and above all with a great sense of humor. We can say we've taken an Egyptian friend for a lifetime

Excellent tour around Pyramids in the desert - HAssan, the guide, was a really nice guy that help me to drive the quad through the desert and I enjoyed a unique experience with the sunset: it was amazing! I paid 450 LE so also the price was ok! They can offer the same tour with camels or horses!

Amazingly informative! A must for the archeology buffs! - I booked the half day pyramid tour with Emo and it was simply an unforgettable experience. My guide was Mohamed Hemida and he was simply the friendliest, most informative and passionate guide I have ever come across. I was picked up from a hotel quite far out of the city which was no problem for them, they were prompt and greeted me with a smile and an air conditioned car with snacks and bottled water. We made our way to Giza where we did a full tour of the entire site and Mohamed gave an in depth explanation to almost everything as he worked as an archaeologist on Giza Plateau for over 20 years. I really enjoyed this tour and I think it’s absolutely unbeatable for the price! I cannot recommend it enough if you are in Cairo and have half a day or so. Thank you guys!

Quad the pyramids - Our Quad bike experience with Emo Tours and Ahmed Tonsi was quite an experience. After Tonsi very carefully tied our scarves we drove through narrow village streets and roads, sometimes along with cantering horses!! We then reached the sand dunes and were in time to watch the pyramids as the sun set. We tried a few tricks in the sand before heading back where Tonsi was waiting to drive us back to the hotel. Slept extremely well that night! A must do activity when visiting the pyramids.

Half day tour Pyramids and quad bike tour. - We arrange for a half day tour of the Giza pyramids followed by a quad bike tour round the pyramids. We were picked up at the hotel and then met our really wonderful guide called Nesma- she made sure to get us to all the vantage points and main spots and was truly informative and friendly throughout. Following that we met two guides who took us on a quid bike tour- this was really exciting and such fun- totally recommended through and through.

Unforgettable day with AHMED TONSI: pyramids, camels & quad bikes - Dear travellers, please STOP SCROLLING any further!! I kindly urge you to consider booking a tour with Ahmed Tonsi, if you’re interested in the pyramids, riding camels and exploring the Giza plateau by quad bike. I guarantee that you will not find a guide more safe, reliable, spontaneous, considerate and fun than Ahmed Tonsi. I really cannot say enough nice things about this man. This was my third tour with him. I booked him again because the first two trips with him went so well. My girlfriend and I were picked up by him and his driver in a fully air conditioned car. We went straight to the Giza Pyramids. At arrival he arranged for us to go inside the largest of the great pyramids. Afterwards we went camel riding for about 15min. And after that we went exploring the rest of the giza plateau and taking pictures. I must admit that he takes great photos for you to reminisce long after your trip. The HIGHLIGHT of the day was when we went quad biking around the whole Giza plateau with the great pyramids in sight. You really can’t ask for a better view than that. Also, I must add that if you are nervous about hustlers, you should not have to worry if you are with Tonsi as he will keep them away from you. All that being said, I highly recommend Ahmed Tonsi because he really made my trip for what it was....simply amazing!

Tour Guide Tried to Scam Us - Hamdi was my tour guide. He was fine, although the information was basic and limited. All was good until he said the camel ride is 500 LE for 30 min by government prices yet he was able to magically make it 400 LE. He will just take part of the commission and knows very well the camel ride should be 100-200 LE. It even says on the sign at the base 500 LE for 1h, not 30 min. The official rate is 100 LE per 30 min. When we confronted him he played dumb. Before trying to scam us with the camel prices, he talks about integrity and not scamming tourists and whatnot. Just like 95% of everybody else in Egypt, he will try to scam you. We also only spent 10 minutes at the sphinx, didn't even go inside the premise or look at it from up front. The tour was advertised to take 4h but we were back at the hotel within 3h. Very disappointing considering he said he had a masters degree in archeology and was chairman of the archeological association, yet he tried to scam us. Really makes me doubt whether he was telling the truth.
