• Pyramids of Giza - Your guide will pick you up from your chosen location to begin your journey through Cairo. The tour starts with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and a stop at the panoramic area where you can enjoy a short camel ride. You’ll then visit the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre, where the royal body of Khafre was received. The Valley Temple was constructed for the mummification process of King Khafre. Finally, you’ll get a close-up view of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a lion’s body and King Khafre’s head. The time spent at each location is flexible based on customer preferences.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid is the only remaining wonder of the ancient seven wonders and stood as the tallest building on earth for over 3800 years. The complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. With your expert Egyptologist, you’ll explore the entire area. (Please note that entering the pyramid requires a special ticket, which your guide can assist with).

• Khafre’s Pyramid - The second tallest pyramid in the complex is dedicated to King Chefren or Khafre. The entire complex is well-preserved, and with your Egyptologist, you’ll explore the valley temple and the causeway of King Khafre. (Please note that entering the pyramids requires a special ticket, which your guide can assist with).

• Menkaure Pyramid - The smallest pyramid on the Giza plateau, now standing at about 61 meters high. Menkaure’s pyramid is unique due to the granite outer layer that still remains on the lower part of the pyramid. The granite was quarried from Aswan, over 9000 kilometers away from Giza.

• Panoramic view of the Pyramids - Next, you’ll visit a panoramic viewpoint of the six pyramids and the city of Giza, where you’ll have 10 minutes to take photos and enjoy the view.

• Great Sphinx - With the same entry ticket to the pyramids area, you’ll get a close-up view of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a lion’s body and King Khafre’s head. You’ll have ample time to take photos with assistance from your guide.

• Saqqara - After lunch, you’ll embark on an amazing journey through the villages to one of Egypt’s most important archaeological sites, Saqqara, to see the oldest pyramid ever built and the surrounding tombs. There is a possibility to enter some pyramids for free.

• Step Pyramid of Djoser - The oldest stone structure in the world, the step pyramid of King Djoser, dates back to 2670 BC. The pyramid is part of a large complex (Colonnaded Entrance, Sed Festival complex, Enclosure wall, North and South Pavilions, Southern Tomb, and thousands of surrounding tombs). With your expert tour guide, you’ll learn more about King Djoser, his talented architect Imhotep, and the new discoveries in Saqqara. • Memphis and Saqqara - The tour continues with a visit to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. This city is home to the colossal statue of Ramses II, the great Alabaster Sphinx, and many ruins. Memphis was the center of power during the Old Kingdom (2686 BC) of Ancient Egypt and the home of the pharaohs who built the pyramids.

• Mit Rahina Museum - A special museum dedicated to the famous statue of King Ramesses the Great from 1279 BC. The museum houses a huge limestone statue in excellent condition. Ramesses the Great ruled the Egyptian empire for about 67 years.
