Thank you 5 million times Wael!!! - Thank you incredibly much for taking us on this great excursion!!! First thing in the morning we were picked up at the hotel by Wael and the driver, where they drove us to the pyramids in Giza. The drive was fun as well, because we got to talk about recent egyptian events and history. At the pyramids we first got a little lesson about how their history and who built them, before first taking a little walk up and around the base of the closest pyramid and then going for a camel ride. The camel ride was an incredible experience which I will remember for the rest of my life :) Soon after the camels, we took a short drive over to the sphynx, where we were taught some very detailed history and legends about the sphynx and the surrounding area. After the sphynx, we drove to the papyrus factory nearby, where the woman working there showed us how it's made and the history behind it, before we were shown around the papyrus shop, where we ended up bying some very beautiful papyrus boards. When we were done, we took a drive a little further south of the city, where we first stopped for some nice snacks and then ended up at Sakkara for another round of ancient sights. At the Sakkara site our great guide told us everything there was to know about the buildings and pyramids around there plus more, where we also got to go into a tomb pit and several ancient buildings. When we were done at the second pyramid site, we were taken to a nice little carpet weavery, where we got to see how the carpets were made and also taken around the carpet store, buying a beautiful little red tapestry. Outside the carpet place, we also got to see the beautiful fields nearby at a farm right next door, which to me was a very beautiful and refreshing sight. After Sakkara, we went for a little drive east to Memphis, where we got to see a nice little outdoor museum which had many ancient pretty statues, including a very big one of Ramses II! Soon after, we were taken to lunch. The place we went to had amazing food, and was located in a beautiful little event venue with very good service. After a great and filling lunch meal, we were in the end taken back to Cairo, right at the doorstep of our hotel, which concluded our great tour for the day. All in all, this is the best tour I have ever been on and completely exceeded my expectations. Not only did we get to see so much more than we expected, but the guide was incredibly friendly and full of all the world's knowledge, way more than I ever thought I wanted to know :) Thank you incredibly much for an amazing day and an amazing trip!!!

Excellent Stargazing Safari in Hurghada - Excellent Stargazing Safari today in Hurghada with our English speaking Astronomer Guide Mossa. He was very happy to answer any questions the group asked about the Bedouin's way of life, astronomical questions and queries, etc, etc. PLEASE NOTE: If you're not agile on your feet, then the climb up the mountain to see the sunset is very strenuous with the steepness, rough ground and uneven height steps. DON'T LET THIS PUT YOU OFF BECAUSE THE REST IS AMAZING, ESPECIALLY IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME STARGAZING.

Magical Experience - I originally took this tour with my mom in December 2021. I loved it so much I’ve done it 4 more times with friends…my last time was in may 2022. Then I went with this company again in Hurghada - another magical experience. But be careful because there’s another company doing almost identical tours and they’re awful! Make sure you book with this particular group so you aren’t disappointed!

Lovely night stargazing - Brilliant trip with moussa who was very knowledgeable about the stars and pointing out various planets and constellations. It was nice to see the stars without light pollution. Enjoyed the photo opportunity at sunset however to improve the trip would have been topped with some sort of show or entertainment at the end of the night.

Excellent Trip - I had one of the best evenings of my whole life! This is an amazing tour. Pick up on time, camel ride was only 2 mins but that's fine. Traditional tea was fresh and lovely, the jeep ride safari was SO FUN it's very bumpy and fast and exhilarating we were all dancing in the back. The bread making was interesting and the BBQ food was so good, best meal I've had in Egypt by far. Watching the sunset over the dunes and mountains was spectacular and we played "rock Jenga" at the top. The stars when they came out were beautiful and so many, it was so relaxing watching them with candle light all around us. The astronomy talk about constellations was very good and we got to see Saturn and the rings and also Jupiter through the telescope which was amazing I've never seen a planet before! Moussa was an amazing host and had a great personality and amazing sense of humour. He really made the tour special. I can't rate this highly enough everything was fabulous and I highly recommend doing this!!

Disappointing - The trip was ok, definitely oversold though. The so called camel ride is a get on and walk 3 steps and get off. The walk up the mountain for the sunset was nice and then into the Bedouin camp was nice. The star gazing itself… you are in a large group of 30/40 people and there is two telescopes that you share between the group so you have about 5 seconds to look at each planet. The food was lovely and the family were lovely but it wasn’t organised in getting the food… again its a large group to try and get their meal all at once. After dinner you lay in the sand to look at the stars for 5-10 minutes. The guide was fast paced when talking and that was all the stargazing you did so it was so disappointing as it could have been amazing.

Give the camels a miss - it's not safe - Stargazing was amazing ~ only wish we could see more and that Saturn would have been bigger in the telescope but we did get to see Saturn, Jupiter and the moon. Quad bikes - fantastic (a suggestion is to sell glasses as opposed to taking lots of photos and trying to sell pics - which most ppl are reluctant to buy). Camel riding - was awful. The people leading the camels didn't care about the safety of riders whatsoever. Camels were dangerously walking into each other whilst the ppl leading them were busy looking at each others phones and smoking. Absolute disregard to peoples safety. We even mentioned several times to them that the camels were ramming each others butts because they were not leading them properly. This was ignored. We had to get off early on because it felt so unsafe. Very disappointed in them. Not sure if they were ignoring us because we are women.
