• Great Sphinx - The Sphinx is recognized as one of the world’s most famous statues, as well as the largest and oldest. It measures approximately seventy-three meters in length and about twenty meters in height. Notably, it features a unique design with a lion’s body and a human head adorned with a royal headdress. Carved from a single piece of limestone, it is estimated to have taken around three years to complete, requiring about a hundred workers using copper chisels and stone hammers. Studies suggest that the statue was carved around 2500 BC under the rule of Khafre.
