transit visit! - Our day trip was amazing from start to finish. Ham and Muhammed picked us up directly at the airport, and we visited all the must-see sites. The highlights for us were undoubtedly the Pyramids and the camel ride. They guided us through the day avoiding crowds. The visit to the oil shop was fascinating, thanks to ‘Gugu’, and the food was delicious, with a five-course meal that kept coming. I highly recommend this private tour, especially with airport pickup included—it’s a must!

2 days in Cairo - Seize the experience with Tree of Life Tours during your short stay in Cairo, it will be absolutely unforgettable! From the warm welcome at the airport by our guide Ashraf to the peaceful stroll through Khan Khalili Market, every moment left a lasting impression. Ashraf's expertise in sharing the rich history of Cairo's ancient sites, including mosques and museums, was truly inspiring. Without a doubt, the highlight of the day was the exciting camel ride next to the pyramids, which provided an amazing perspective. Lunch at a hotel near the Pyramids was not only delicious but also perfectly prepared for the afternoon adventure. Although time constraints meant we couldn't visit all the planned stops, Nour made sure we soaked up Egypt's treasures, making a quick visit to the Sphinx seem majestic. For anyone considering a short stay in Cairo, Tree of Life Tours, with its personalized approach and commitment to creating unforgettable memories, is the obvious choice. Our tour guide Nour made the experience fun and educational. Highly recommended for an unforgettable and engaging trip to Cairo.

Great tour with family - Great experience with Noor, private tour tailored to our family needs and 10 hour layover. We traveled with a 6 year, 3 year, 1 year old. Noor was knowledgeable and showed us the highlights, including a great local lunch. He changed the day tour as per our wants and brought us to the airport with time to spare. One downside is they take you to a papyrus and essential oil shop- both aimed at tourists but I did buy something from each since I was limited on time in Cairo. Highly recommend the tour

Just the best! - We had the best day being shown round by Nour. He took us to such fabulous uncrowded viewpoints, took photos for us (very good ones) and was our personal guide around the sights and in the museum. He saved us from over zealous street vendors too! Our driver was also amazing in the very challenging Cairo driving conditions! We were dropped off so close to entrances of everything!

Great tour, definitely recommend! - My husband and I did a layover tour at the end of July 2023 and it was great - we would definitely recommend this tour. Our guide messaged us the evening before to ensure we were picked up on time. It was the perfect way to see Cairo. Our flight landed early morning so we went straight to the pyramids and avoided the crowds / afternoon heat. From the pyramids, we had a short camel ride, and then we got to see the sphinx. We had a driver and a guide which was really helpful as there aren’t many places closely to park so we would jump out with the guide and then the driver would come back to pick us up when we were ready. Our guide, Michael, was kind and informative - we learned a lot about the city and history from him. After our time at the pyramids, we stopped in at an oil and papyrus shop. Both were optional and we didn’t feel pressured to buy items at either stop. Michael was very accommodating as it was too early to have lunch at the preplanned place, so we went back into Cairo and ended up having delicious shawarma - we appreciated Michael changing up the plan so we weren’t just waiting around. We also got to see the markets and a museum during our tour.

Great for a long layover in Cairo - We had a wonderful time! Very thorough communication with our guide and super easy pick up and drop off from the airport. We started early on Friday so there were very few people around. We felt a little rushed at the pyramids and only got to take pictures with the great pyramid. would have liked to spend a little more time wondering around or seeing the other ones. The camel rides were my kids favorite. They also offer a carriage ride if you’d prefer. The camels looked really healthy and well taken care of. We spent a large portion of the tour be taken to shops, oils, papyrus, jewelry. Tip: despite the shop owner saying you can bring the oils in your carry on you cannot and will make you check it if you have a suitcase to put it in. We ended up using my husbands day bag to check them. Lunch was good with a view overlooking the pyramids. The museum was interesting and our guide was really knowledgeable. We were discouraged from visiting the market though it didn’t look any more intense than ones we’ve seen in other parts of the worlds like Istanbul, Delhi, or Beijing. For a long layover and ease of getting around and hitting the highlights of the city this was a perfect choice.
