• Pyramids of Giza - Begin your journey across Cairo with a pick-up from your requested location by a Gem Explore Egyptologist. The tour starts with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza, including a stop at the panorama area for a short camel ride. You’ll then visit the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre, where the royal body of Khafre was received. The Valley Temple was constructed for the mummification process of King Khafre. • Menkaure Pyramid - The smallest pyramid on the Giza plateau, now standing at about 61 meters high. Menkaure’s pyramid is unique due to the granite outer layer that still remains on its lower part, with the granite quarried from Aswan, over 1000 kilometers away from Giza.
• Panoramic view of the Pyramids - Next, visit a panoramic viewpoint of the 9 pyramids and the city of Giza. You’ll spend 30 minutes here to take photos and enjoy the view, with an opportunity for a 30-minute camel ride.
• Great Sphinx - With the same entry ticket to the pyramids area, you’ll get a close-up view of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a lion’s body and King Khafre’s head. You’ll have ample time to take photos with assistance from our guide, who are also expert photographers.

• Step Pyramid of Djoser - The oldest stone structure in the world, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser dates back to 2670 BC. The pyramid is part of a vast complex that includes the Colonnaded Entrance, Sed Festival complex, Enclosure wall, North and South Pavilions, Southern Tomb, and thousands of surrounding tombs. With your expert tour guide, you’ll learn more about King Djoser, his talented architect Imhotep, and the new discoveries in Saqqara. • Memphis and Sakkara - The tour continues with a visit to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. This city features the colossal statue of Ramses II, the great Alabaster Sphinx, and numerous ruins. Memphis was the center of power during the Old Kingdom (2686 BC) of Ancient Egypt and home to the pharaohs who built the pyramids.
• Mit Rahina Museum - A special museum housing the famous statue of King Ramesses the Great from 1279 BC. This huge limestone statue is in excellent condition. Ramesses the Great ruled the Egyptian empire for about 67 years.
• The Sphinx of Memphis - Located near the remains of Memphis, the Sphinx of Memphis is a stone statue made from Egyptian Alabaster. It is in very good condition and may represent the famous Queen Hatshepsut from 1479 BC.
