Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - Begin your day tour with a pickup from your Cairo hotel by our expert tour guide. You’ll be transported to Giza City in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Visit the Giza Pyramids to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Cheops is the largest pyramid ever constructed. Next, explore the Valley Temple, where bodies were mummified, and get an up-close view of the Sphinx, a massive funerary complex guarded by a lion’s body with the face of King Chephren.
  • Old Cairo - Continue your tour in Old Cairo, also known as Christian Coptic Cairo, one of the most significant sites visited by the Holy Family. Despite their brief stay, the spiritual impact of their presence is still felt. The Governor of Fustat, angered by the falling idols at Jesus’ approach, sought to kill the Child. The family took refuge in a cave, over which the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius) was later built. This area, including the Fort of Babylon, is a pilgrimage destination for Egyptians and Christians worldwide. The district exudes an air of piety and devotion. You can visit and enter the Church of Abu-Sergah, St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the old Jewish synagogue, Ben Ezra Synagogue.
  • Mosque of Muhammad Ali - Visit the Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Mosque. The Citadel, a vast fortification in central Cairo, has a rich history dating back to Saladin’s era in the 12th century. Its high walls and grand gates tell stories of power, conquest, and defense. Inside this fortified citadel is the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque, a prime example of Ottoman architecture. With its towering minarets, grand domes, and intricate details, the mosque is a must-see in Cairo’s skyline. Experience the blend of history and architectural beauty at the Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque.
  • Khan Al-Khalili - Explore the Khan Khalili Bazaar, a world-famous market filled with a wide variety of Egyptian antiques, jewelry, spices, perfumes, and textiles. The Bazaar offers a quintessential Egyptian shopping experience with an oriental atmosphere that attracts both locals and tourists. Enjoy the engaging aromas, colorful stalls, and the melodic hum of bartering that make the Khan Khalili Bazaar a must-visit destination in Cairo.

At the end of the day, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Exceptional Tour Guide Marwa Galal - Marwa was not only lovely and enthusiastic about history, but she was also incredibly thorough in her explanations and ensured that I fully understood the historical context. Her courteous and polite demeanor made the tour enjoyable and relaxing. Marwa did not rush through the tour and took the time to capture some amazing pictures of me at various sites. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had a fantastic day and I truly appreciate her dedication to her work. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, I fully recommend Marwa Galal.
