Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - The tour begins at 8:00 am with a hotel pickup in either Cairo or Giza. Your guide will take you to the Giza Pyramids for a half-day tour, where you’ll visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.

You have the option to explore the Pyramids from the inside or enjoy a camel ride around them for an additional fee.

  • Giza Plateau - The Giza Plateau (Arabic: هضبة الجيزة‎) is located on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. It is the site of the Fourth Dynasty Giza Necropolis, which includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers’ village, and an industrial complex.
  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only fully preserved portrait of King Khufu is a three-inch high ivory figurine found in a temple ruin at Abydos in 1903. Other reliefs and statues were discovered in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Information about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents, such as the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.
  • Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. Several statues of Khafre were found in the valley temple, some discovered in a well by Mariette in 1860 and others during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
  • Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
  • Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was later expanded by subsequent rulers.
  • Giza - The Quad Bike Tour is an exhilarating way to explore Egypt’s ancient wonders. These custom-made buggies can speed over the dunes at over 50 mph, taking you to places most tourists never see. Riding through the desert is a thrilling experience, offering unforgettable holiday memories and stunning photos with the Pyramids as a backdrop. After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.

A fantastic tour with a fantastic guide. - We chose the package with pick-up, and the driver came at the agreed time in a comfortable ride. The ATV tour was great, we got to ride around the pyramids, and we were dropped back at our place very satisfied. The 1 hour tour flies by, I recommend a longer one.

The Best Pyramid Tour - Where do I start? After having such a horrible first day in Cairo, The tour was the best thing that could've happened. I originally was supposed to go on a tour with Toonsi, but instead, Mohamed and his assistant Mahmoud picked us up. From the moment they picked us up, it was a breath of fresh air. They did their very best to may our tour enjoyable. Upon arrival, they shared a few details about the tour and the things we had planned for today. Our first stop was the pyramids. Mohamed briefed us on the history of the pyramids and the tombs. Afterwards, he took several pictures in different areas of my boyfriend and myself (both together and separate). We opted out of going inside the pyramids, but it is an option if that's something you're interested in. Next, we went to the camels and had a camel ride to the pyramids to take more photos and soak in the sun. We didn't have enough Egyptian pounds on us, so Mohamed paid him and then we paid him back later. Our camel ride was about 30-40 mins. The camel guide let us go to a different location so we could take more pictures on the camel in front of the pyramids. We did not witness any camels being mistreated, so that was good. After visiting the pyramids, we went to the Sphinx. They took more pictures and he explained the history of it as well. As we continued our day, we stopped by some local shops where you can purchase perfumes, souvenirs, and etc and then went to ride the atvs. The atvs were such a blast (they are old, but still can move fast). The tour was done by some locals and they took us through a neighborhood (just a warno: we saw a few dead animals) and then we went into an open field to take more pictures in front of the pyramids. The guide did a few tricks with us and we rode around in the sand, while still having accessible view to the pyramids. After the atv tour, we went to lunch. I thought the food was just ok. It was a buffet that had a decent variety, but after seeing the animals, I lost my appetite. On our way to get dropped off, we all talked/ laughed and just had a grand ole time in the car. I'm so thankful I had them, because my boyfriend and I were working off 3 hours of sleep and they made us forget we were even tired. They did not rush us the entire time and was always patient throughout the entire tour. Hands down, they truly made our trip to Cairo so much better. (Just an FYI: we didn't really experience many hagglers. Mohamed made sure that no one really got close to us). If you go on a tour, please ask for Mohamed.

Great Experience - Great service. The best part of our tour was our guide Shaher Mohamed! He Sincerely loves what he does and make sure you’ll get fair deals! We had to force him to take a tip at the end! It was such a joy sad that we only found him at the end of our trip! We will surly be back to visit!
