Very good tour guide - Our tour guide Wael Abdallah was very pleasant and professional. We felt very comfortable on the tour. He told us a lot about the story, led us to the best photo spots and took very good photos of us. We were picked up at the hotel, drove by car into the pyramid area and the driver Nasar drove us from point to point, which was very pleasant. After visiting the 3 pyramids we went on a camel ride. In fact, the nice man who led our two camels fulfilled all our wishes, took photos of us and let us descend in front of the pyramids, took photos and climbed again. Very nice. What was not so nice: although the camel ride was included, in the end the owner of the camels stopped de Hand. And very outrageously: “Give me EURO!”. I was happy to tip the nice man who led our camels. To the outrageous boss I felt compelled to give 10,- EUR because I did not want an escalation. Our guide had offered to get the 10,- EUR back, but in the end we also found that inappropriate. After the camel ride we went to the Sphinx, again nice pictures, then lunch. In the rooftop bar of a hotel nearby. Delicious and rich food, drinks we paid ourselves as stated. The view was great and the service nice. We even got bread out of the oven ourselves at the entrance. That was great. Then came a stop at a jewelry store that translates the letters of our names into hieroglyphics, we bought two pendants. Then we went to an oil and papyrus factory. We could have left out the last 3 points, but we wanted to see. Eco we also bought and a few leaves of papyrus. The salesman in the oil shop was uncomfortable, the woman in the papyrus shop very nice. On the Emde we were taken back to the hotel. Overall, for the price (elsewhere the tour costs twice as much) was very much included and especially the tour guide was excellent!

A few hours in Cairo - We had a few hours in Cairo (stopover of our trip). We then visited only the three pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. The Habib Guide (speaks Italian) was very clear and always available to our needs. He picked us up with a very nice driver and a super new car. Travel to/from the airport is not included in the package.

The driver SMSM was a very safe drive and had no trouble with him . Also the pyramids are out of this world and can't get enough of them.

Exciting visit, well organized with excellent Egyptologist guide in Italian - Excellent Egyptologist guide in perfect Italian (guide name: Habib Maher) for a well-organized visit, with entry into a pyramid. The final "camel ride" is unmissable for children (and not only). Excellent and plentiful lunch. "The Pyramid of Cheops – we seem to hear Mia Farrow in "Murder on the Nile", when she bothers the newlyweds while climbing the stone steps – dates back to the 4th dynasty of the Old Kingdom. It is the largest of the three pyramids, with a base of approximately 230 meters and an original height of 147 meters. Much of the external limestone cladding has been removed over the centuries, reducing the current height to 138.5 meters. Khafre is slightly smaller than the Great Pyramid. Menkaure has a base of 109 meters and a completed height of 66 meters. All three pyramids have been plundered internally and externally over the centuries." The Sphinx – with the head of a man and the body of a lion – is an astonishing, almost to the point of tears, a mystery that has questioned man since 2500 BC: 73 meters long, 20 meters high. The head alone It has a height of 4 meters. It is obtained from an outcrop of rock during the construction of the Pyramids of Giza. The identification of the face depicted by the Sphinx is still a subject of debate. Some believe it represents Pharaoh Khafre, while recent studies suggest it may be Pharaoh Khufu. In the past, it was believed that Napoleon's army fired a cannon shot at the Sphinx, destroying its nose. However, this theory has been disproved. Illustrations of the already mutilated Sphinx date back to 1737, long before Napoleon set foot in Egypt. According to a 15th century Arab historian, a Muslim believer named Muhammad Sai'im al-Dahr wanted to destroy the entire work because he considered it an object of idolatry. This gesture could be the cause of the breaking of the Sphinx's nose. The Sphinx, with its male human head, could represent the pharaoh who had to protect the pyramids and wish a peaceful afterlife to the pharaohs buried around it. After so much history and culture, well illustrated by the excellent guide Habib, there was certainly a tourist moment, but undoubtedly magical for adults and children: camel riding. Photos like there was no tomorrow, excellent lunch
