Best Guide Ever – A True Gem in Egypt - Abdu was simply outstanding in every way, making our visit to the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum an unforgettable experience.
Among his many remarkable qualities, his exceptional photography skills truly stood out, capturing stunning moments and turning them into beautifully framed memories we’ll treasure forever. Come experience it for yourself, and you’ll see exactly what we mean.
As a qualified Egyptologist, Abdu’s depth of knowledge brought the ancient wonders to life. He shared fascinating historical insights with clarity and passion. He answered all our questions with enthusiasm, patience, and a deep understanding, making history come alive in the most engaging way. We are not usually a museum person, but Egypt’s history is so vast, and with Abdu’s guidance, not once did we feel bored at the GEM.
Abdu also speaks excellent English, which made communication smooth and easy, a rare quality among local guides we encountered. He was always attentive, patient, and thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met with care and professionalism throughout the tour.
We also really enjoyed the meal included in our tour package, a delicious local restaurant featuring koshari, a must-try Egyptian dish. Seeing so many locals dining there made the experience feel even more authentic.
What impressed us most was that Abdu never once asked for tips, something truly rare in Egypt, where most guides we encountered pressured us into tipping. (Of course, we still tipped Abdu, he absolutely deserved it.) It showed a level of integrity and professionalism that we deeply respect.
Looking back, Abdu wasn’t just a guide, he was the highlight of our entire journey. We feel incredibly lucky to have had him lead us through Egypt’s wonders. Highly recommended to anyone visiting!

One of the best Tour Guide with Outstanding Photography Skill - I haven’t met too many tour guides in my life, but he’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever come across. From the moment our Cairo tour began, he impressed us with his professionalism, fluent English, and calm, patient demeanor. He has a genuine passion for Egyptian history, and the way he shared stories and insights made every site feel alive and meaningful.
What really stood out was how ethical and respectful he was throughout the tour. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything, no hard selling, and not once did he hint at wanting a tip—which is especially rare in Cairo, Egypt. He simply focused on giving us the best experience possible, and that alone says so much about his character.
On top of all that, his photography skills are amazing! He knew the perfect spots and angles, capturing moments that we’ll treasure forever. You can check out more of his photography and guiding work on Instagram at @abdelrahman_hassn—his eye for detail is truly impressive.
If you’re heading to Cairo and want a guide who’s knowledgeable, trustworthy, and truly cares, I can’t recommend him enough.

Excellent - The museum was great, a new building, also well organized. The guide was very competent, explaining you the history of the monuments, and also a nice person.
We stopped for lunch in a typical restaurant, very good dishes (it was included in the price)
