Egyptologists believe the Pyramid of Cheops (also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza) was built as a tomb for the Egyptian Pharaoh Khofo and constructed over a 14 to 20-year period in 2560 BC.

This sphinx was made to guard the pyramids of King Chefren. Next, visit the Valley Temple which belonged to the Pyramids of Chephren. The temple acted as a place for the purification and mummification process of the king before burial.

Solo travelers experience - Review: Half-Day Pyramid Tour with Camel Ride
Booking and Preparation
Booking the tour was easy, with clear instructions provided on what to bring and where to meet.
Transportation
We were picked up from our hotel in a comfortable van. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about Egypt on the way to Giza.
At the Pyramids
Seeing the Great Pyramids of Giza was awe-inspiring. Our guide gave us a detailed history and answered all our questions. We had plenty of time to explore and take photos.
Camel Ride
The camel ride was the highlight. The camels were well-behaved, and the handlers were helpful. Riding through the desert with the pyramids in the background was unforgettable.
Sphinx Visit
We also visited the Sphinx, where our guide explained its history and mythology. It was amazing to see it up close.
Return Trip
After the tour, we were comfortably driven back to our hotel. We arrived in the early afternoon, leaving us with the rest of the day free.
Overall
The tour was well-organized, and our guide was excellent. The camel ride added a unique touch to the experience. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Egypt.

Saw the pyramids and rode on a camel, Mahmoud helped us take the best pictures!!! Was so fun - My husband and I had the best time! We felt safe, comfortable and was taken care of so well by Mahmoud and his crew. Highly recommend.

Wonderful - Zoze has been an excellent guide to us. He picked us up on time from our hotel and gave us a lot of info about the pyramids and the churches in the city. He also took us around the city to show us the best places to buy souvenirs and coffee. Absolutely enjoyed it.

Amazing tour to the pyramids. - It was a dream come true! The pyramids were breathtaking. Our guide stayed with us the entire time, so we felt very safe. We also had a private vehicle with AC, which definitely helped us through the hot sun. We had a nice dinner, overlooking the Sphynx. It was just a perfect day.
