• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, currently buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Although diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, the site remains unexcavated.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, discovered in a well on the temple floor by Mariette in 1860.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple.

These pyramids are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, constructed between 2613–2589 BCE.
