Superb - Our guide was a wonderful young man, great manners and professional. He was exactly on time for pickup as promised, in spite of the chaotic traffic of evening rush hours. Well versed in English, Russian and Arabic.

Enchanting and rich in history - The Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids is a truly enchanting experience that brings the ancient wonders to life. Set against the backdrop of the majestic pyramids, the show narrates the rich history of these iconic structures, using a combination of lights, music, and storytelling. As the sun sets and the sky darkens, the pyramids are illuminated in vibrant colors, casting a spell over the audience. The narration takes you on a journey through time, revealing the mysteries of the pharaohs and the construction of these incredible monuments. It's not just a visual feast; the atmosphere is electric, filled with the awe of standing in front of such ancient marvels. This immersive experience offers a unique perspective on one of the Seven Wonders of the World, making it a must-see for anyone visiting Egypt! It was a unique experience from the other light and sound shows I've seen. This show might not be for everyone if you aren't into storytelling.

Just OK - The show is appropriate for those who have a layover in Cairo during the night. It is a 50 minute drive from the airport, about 1 hour of show, 50 minute drive back to the airport. The show itself was underwhelming, the narration can be improved to be interesting and engaging. The tour operator charges 45 USD per person, including the 15 USD entrance ticket. The car was private and clean, the driver was safe. We were met by a guide, who did not give us any history about the pyramids, but instead insisted we go to a jewelry shop 15 minutes before the show started. The guide said we cannot go inside yet, when clearly people were already going inside to see the show. We refused to go inside the jewelry shop because we wanted to see the pyramids even from afar before it got dark, but were not able to do so because we wasted time walking towards the jewelry shop. For two people, we paid 90 USD, of which 30 USD was for the tickets and 60 USD for transportation only.

Not worth going to the show. - The show is ok but definitely not worth the experience or the money, a bit tacky. Skip this and enjoy the pyramids in their natural wonderful beauty. Climb inside the pyramids do a balloon flight over the Valley of the Kings. Light and sound show not worth the time.

Pathetic show! - Uninteresting lighting, minimal projection (lasers that were used 20+ years ago aren't there anymore). Same voiceover from God knows what 1980s? Bad sound. Overall terrible engagement. I almost fell asleep but the chairs were bad and uncomfortable. We bought VIP tickets which give you front row with additional cushions on your chair, but guess what? Some chairs had them and some didn't. It's almost 2025, why can't we use latest lighting tech and new sound to make this an epic show? Trust me, it's possible and it'll be stunning if done! For now, it’s definitely not worth the hype and can easily be skipped.

It's a no go for light and sound show. - As spectacular as the Giza pyramids are, I would give this an absolute miss. It's old, very old, and if it doesn't put you to sleep with the 1950's style narration and music then nothing will. Cars drive constantly around and their headlights detract from the event...as bad as it is. It drones on and on in dramatic dialogue and is difficult to piece together because it's just so bad.... On a positive note, the pyramids do look great under lights but there could be so, so much more done to improve this experience and make it a must see highlight.
