  • Pyramids of Giza - Day 1: Hurghada - Giza: Giza Pyramid Complex:

The complex features three main pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. It dates back to the 4th dynasty, around 2500 B.C.

The Great Pyramid:

This is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau and the only one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World still intact. Standing at 147 meters tall, it was constructed with 2,300,000 stones and took twenty years to complete.

The Great Sphinx:

The largest statue in the world, the Great Sphinx measures 73 meters in length, 19 meters in width, and 20 meters in height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.

The Valley Temple:

This granite mortuary temple was used by the Ancient Egyptians for mummification and is the only one remaining on the Giza plateau.
