Day Tour To Giza Pyramids Memphis Sakkara and Dahshour Pyramids

Pyramids of Giza - The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mekarenous / The mummification Temple / The Great Sphinx

Pyramids of Dahshour - See the renowned Red and Bent pyramids, both towering over 100 meters. You can enter the Red pyramid for free.

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried under the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated.

Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some found in a well by Mariette in 1860.

Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure. The king’s pyramid, completed around 2510 BC, has three subsidiary or queen’s pyramids.

Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was expanded by later rulers.

Giza Plateau - The Giza Plateau (Arabic: هضبة الجيزة‎) is located in Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. It is the site of the Fourth Dynasty Giza Necropolis, which includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers’ village, and an industrial complex.

Step Pyramid of Djoser - The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid, is an archaeological site in the Saqqara necropolis, northwest of the city of Memphis.

Memphis and Sakkara - The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mekarenous / The mummification Temple / The Great Sphinx. In Memphis, visit the reclining statue of King Ramses II, a single piece of limestone weighing 120 tons, and the alabaster statue of the Sphinx, weighing 80 tons, among other artifacts.

Pyramids of Dahshour - Visit the Dahshur Pyramids. Dahshur was the southern part of the Memphis cemetery, the capital of ancient Egypt. Pyramids of the kings of the Old and Middle Kingdoms were built on this hill. The first king of the 4th Dynasty, Sneferu, chose the rocky plateau of Dahshur to build his first pyramid to rival King Djoser’s pyramid in Saqqara but did not complete it.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day Tour to Egyptian Museum Citadel and Khan Khalili Bazaar

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Begin with a pickup from your hotel for a full-day tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. It showcases the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art in the world, with over 250,000 genuine artifacts dating back 5,000 years. Highlights include a special exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun, featuring treasures, gold, and jewelry buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years until their discovery in the 1920s.

Cairo Citadel - Next, visit the Citadel of Saladin, where you will see the Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque. It is designed similarly to the Blue Mosque in Turkey but is smaller.

Khan Al-Khalili - Then, explore the Khan El Khalili Bazaars, famous for their fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to Cairo International Airport.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch at a local restaurant.

Mosque of Muhammad Ali - The Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, or Alabaster Mosque (Arabic: مسجد محمد علي‎; Turkish: Mehmet Ali Paşa Camii), is located in the Citadel.

2 great days of Egyptian culture - As this was our first time to Egypt we wanted to get the most out of our time there. We chose the private 2 day tour as we didn't want to deal with a big crowd of people. Pick up was on time and we were thankful for the air-condition. There your guide heba explained everything to us and have us insight to the Egyptian culture. As we were interested in purchasing so clothing, she took us to a Egyptian Cotton clothing store we're we were able to find everything we wanted without constantly being harassed by street merchants.

Amazing private tour from Moses through Cairo! - We had an incredible trip in Cairo with Moses as our personal tour guide! You couldn’t ask for a better guide! Amr Moses has an incredible understanding of the history & manages to layout a foundation for travelers to follow & appreciate. You truly cannot explain unless you’ve been to Egypt how much there is to see, experience & be amazed!!!! Moses was kind, patient with the group & ensured we each had a wonderful trip. He anticipated our needs each day & adjustments were made as things came up to make sure!!! I couldn’t recommend a better guide & private tour is the only way to go. You would be lost without Moses!!! We requested him for our second part of trip, back in Cairo & fortunately the tour company arranged! He truly made the trip!!! Ask for Moses!!!!

2 perfect days in Cairo - Yes you will have to tip all day long (everyone does it: the tourists, but the locals too, so plan for a lot of 10 bills), yes you may be dropped at shops that were not planned in the program (but this helps discover local craft and meet new people, you don’t have to buy, just be curious and give a little tip), and yes you will have to pay with your card and get cash back from the guide at all attractions. Once you have that in mind, and see that it is the case for ALL tours, you will have a blast! My guide Amal and my driver Amro were extremely nice, very knowledgeable and open. I felt safe (while driving in Cairo is crazy), and welcomed. They found restaurants with a pyramid view, which wasn’t originally planned, they kindly offered me water, sweets, coffee and dates, and they paid some tips so I wouldn’t have to take the stairs or wait in a queue. And in a private tour, it is a good opportunity to spend quality time with locals. Concerning the attractions, we covered everything which was described. But not more. If you want to visit the inside of a pyramid, beware that you are looking at 80m of tiny tunnels (you can’t stand, and some tall people had to crawl!) in the heat with little air (don’t be claustrophobic, and bring water with you). Dashur is harder than Kheops. The « old » Cairo museum is still super worth it, even if some pieces have been moved to the not opened yet new Grand museum. So net, i recommend this tour, I was dreaming about visiting Egypt, and those 2 days in Cairo were perfect :)

Awesome private day tours - We booked 2 tours 2 days in a row with Emo Tours Egypt, and we had an awesome time! The tour operator ensured everything was seamless with booking and followed up with us after the tours to make sure we were happy. We booked the Cairo private city tour the first day and the private pyramids tour the second day. We were lucky enough to get Mahmoud as our guide and Hamada as our driver both days. They made everything incredibly fun and easy. We saw so many amazing sites, learned so much, and Mahmoud took lots of really awesome pictures for us that we are super grateful for. You won’t regret booking through this company. If we could give higher than 5 stars we would!

Tour was not bad but tour guide needs improvement - The company was very responsive in queries and made adjustments according to our request in terms of pick-up and drop-off etc. Thumbs up!! The tour itself was not bad; but visiting such a culture- and history-rich attractions, you expect the tour guide to be more fluent in English and be able to provide more details, which was under my expectations. Our tour guide was more like to complete the itinerary rather than accomondating. In addition, there was some hinds in shopping although you may get away from visiting all the pre-planned shops by indicating it to the tour guide, after all it was meant to be a private tour. Transportation and food was up to standard.
