Pyramids of Giza - Next, visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Cheops is the largest pyramid ever built. Then, get a close-up view of the Sphinx, a massive funerary complex guarded by the legendary lion-bodied figure with the face of King Chephren.

Then, visit Pompey’s Pillar, followed by the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, which have tombs on three levels and a triclinium where relatives used to feast the dead. Then, visit the cemetery for Memphis, used continuously for 3,000 years. Next, visit the old part of Cairo, as Egypt was one of the first countries to embrace Christianity. Visit the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the old Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue.
