Best way to see Glasgow in a short period of time - Fabulous tour with Johnny and highly recommend it. He ensured the group stayed together, spoke with each of us individually throughout the tour and gave lots of small tidbits to enhance your time in Glasgow. He was most helpful in providing additional information at the end of the tour. He loves to be challenged with questions about the city and I don't think it's possible to stump him. He has a huge knowledge of the city and its architecture which you would never comprehend walking the city on your own. He is one of the kindest, most considerate tour guides we have had amongst many around the world. By taking Johnny's tour, we were able to discover the highlights of the city in a short period of time. He deserves a 10 star review.

Quacking Tour with the Gander! - So here's the thing. I'm a Glasgow native but there's still so many things in plain sight that natives don't always look up to see in their hometown. I took the tour because although I think I know my city pretty well...I wanted to see the parts I might have missed in the hustle & bustle of a crowded commute. On a typically west-coast-of-Scotland- wet-yet-windy Autumn Saturday, I joined the Glasgow Gander for a wee dander about the toon. Despite the driving rain, Johnny's exceptionally knowledgeable narrative painted a brilliant portrait of the development and architecture of the once heralded "Second City of the Empire". His commentary and lively presentation also attracted the attention of passers by who were scurrying to and fro in an attempt to escape the rain. I think that is the sure sign of a pretty great tour guide. Not everyone can turn heads in the wind and rain. The educational-pointer-umbrella may have helped though! For far travelled visitors to our amazing city - thank you for choosing Glasgow and don't forget to choose Glasgow Gander to show you around. It will be the best choice you make, without a doubt. And...for those fellow Weegies who want to know more about our fair city....it's a really informative tour and enjoy those moments of seeing details you've never noticed before. To Glasgow Gander - Well done Young Jedi....the Glasgow is indeed strong!

Best experience in Glasgow - This was the best experience we had in Glasgow and one of the most informative tours we took during our entire stay in Scotland. Johnny is very knowledgeable about the city and he seems to want to share his love of the city with others. He was very friendly, he tried to take the time to talk to everyone on the tour between stops. By the time the tour ended we knew more about the history of Glasgow and had a much better idea of things we needed to do while in Glasgow. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone; especially if you can take the tour at the beginning of your stay.
