Merchant wealth and Cutty Sarks - Bruce gave us an excellent tour of Glasgow, just us two on a chilly damp Sunday on our first visit. He sold the city to us starting with Mungo up to modern day football! A great overview of the city with history, architecture, street art and humour, plus good suggestions for a musical lunch at (Babbity Bowster ) and the best pizza in the city for dinner (Paesano Pizza).Thank you Bruce.

Excellent Customized Tour - Bruce is a fantastic guide. On just a few weeks’ notice, he organized a private walking tour for our multigenerational group of six to explore places in eastern Glasgow personally connected to our family. More specifically, we were able to visit the locations where my father-in-law was born and raised and his parents previously resided. To aid our tour, Bruce brought in a colleague with deep expertise in the history of the relevant districts to accompany us and share archival documents and anecdotes. This was a moving experience for all of us and especially my father-in-law (truly a highlight of his life) as it was his first time back in Scotland in nearly 70 years. Bruce’s knowledge, passion, and grace shone through. He was also very accommodating, working seamlessly with other providers on short notice to address our logistical challenges. We highly recommend Bruce for anyone interested in gaining a deeper insight into Glasgow, its history, and the people that make it thrive.

A Must Do - My partner and I love a walking history tour and are so pleased we did this one. Bruce our guide treated us with an amazing few hours of the history of Glasgow from its founding to more contemporary subjects and city life in general. He is an engaging guide who really connected with the group and the tour is very reasonably priced. It's a great way to get the lay of the land around Glasgow and be enthralled by the rich history and energy of the city. A must do
