Great Tour! - We were a group of 4 friends in Scotland for two weeks. In Glasgow, the Necropolis was one of the top things we wanted to see. All of us enjoy wandering in cemeteries. When I began researching the trip over 6 months ago, I couldn’t find a guided tour of Necropolis, so I was happy to find this one a few weeks before we left. It’s a large place and I thought having a guide would enable us to get more out of the experience than wander around on our own. A real plus was that it’s a private tour but very reasonably priced for a group of four. We arrived early and our guide Tommy was already there. It was a beautiful day - very warm and sunny. I guess Glasgow is not frequently like that, so my tip would be , if you get warm easily, bring water and a hat. I wished I had brought my sun hat as there is not a great deal of shade. The tour was just great. Tommy is extremely knowledgeable about the Necropolis and had loads of fascinating stories. He answered all our questions. At the end, he went above and beyond by guiding/walking with us to an area where we could find a good selection of restaurants for dinner. Much appts it was our way in Glasgow and didn’t have our bearings at all. I highly recommend this very interesting and enjoyable tour and Tommy!
