Amazing experience - Our tour guide Jim was amazing, he’s a very knowledgeable man. The views were also breathtakingly beautiful! We weren’t able to go inside Inveraray Castle due to it being closed during the fall but the town was just as great. Kilchurn was also closed due to reconstruction but Jim made up for it by giving us more time to explore. This is a must go trip for those wanting to explore the towns and the highlands.

Wonderful tour - I was visiting my daughter Abigail in Glasgow who is studying abroad this semester. This was my first trip to Europe. I decided to take this tour from Glasgow to see the Standing Stones, Highlands, Glencoe, Kilcharn Castle, Highland cattle, Inverary and Inverary Castle, Luss, Loch Lomond and so much more. The scenery was breathtaking. The tour was outstanding and our tour guide Ailisha was wonderful. I had a great time and highly recommend this tour.

Thoughtful guide, lovely visits throughout the day - The Scotland Highlands are gorgeous in the fall. The colors seemed extra saturated on an overcast, rainy day. Loch Lomond had a mystical feel in the morning rain. Highlights of the day included the Inveraray Gardens and a short hike to the top of a hill. Our guide provided an interesting introduction to Scotland on the drive out from Glasgow.

This tour is my favourite Scotland memory - Seriously the best tour ever. James our guide was hilarious and put up with a lot of my teasing banter. He looked after everyone equally and we were all included unlike other tours I’ve been on where no one talks to each other at all. Inveraray Castle was an absolute highlight for me, been dreaming of visiting since I was 7. Cannot recommend highly enough. Be sure to ask James about his paper plane achievements

Lovely Day Trip from Glasgow - The tour was a neat overview of the noted Highland areas. Each stop includes some amount of walking, but I'd qualify it as medium-to-low effort – comfortable shoes for a light hike might be appropriate. As other reviewers note, it is possible to get some food at Inveraray and near the last stop of the tour, but we personally decided to pack a light lunch, which we felt worked well for us because it gave us a bit more time to spend looking around. Between each stop there's a good amount of driving, but we had a good time with Ailsa, our guide. She was very friendly; this trip was our first time in Scotland, so aside from the info she'd give at each stop, she was kind enough to answer plenty of our questions about Gaelic and other general Scottish topics. Overall, this is a good day trip if you're visiting Glasgow, and it left us eager to spend more time exploring the Highlands on a future trip.

Okay, so it was a truly... - Okay, so it was a truly lovely tour with a great driver. However, in her narration about Scottish history, she said that the “Picts were not that smart, and were absorbed into the Gaelic culture.” As a descendent of a pict, McNecthen, McNaughton, McKnaight, McKnight Clan, I took offense. The Nechten Picts were among the first Kings of Scotland and ruled many hundreds of years. Your guides need to be better educated about the history of Scotland, I believe. Thanks!

Another Fantastic Tour through Beautiful Scotland - This was the second trip that my sister and I went with Scotland's Wild while visiting from the US. We had a different tour guide, James, who warmly welcomed us at Buchanan St Station in Glasgow. To name a few sites: we went to Loch Lomond, Luss, Inverary Castle, and the Standing Stones. It was an absolutely beautiful and informative drive through breathtaking scenery. James was an excellent tour guide! A warm and friendly person to spend the day with. He also was very knowledgeable and gave us tons of historical and cultural information. The whole day was so enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Blessed with some November sunshine - Jim is such a friendly, happy-go-lucky Scotsman. I loved his jokes and banter throughout the day, along with his kilt and Scottish playlist. I really liked how we packed in so many sights into this tour, although I didn’t realize how much of the day would be spent driving, so it would have been nice to have had a bit more time at Inveraray to perhaps hike up to the little bothy above the castle. It’s a shame we weren’t able to get closer to Kilchurn castle, but it will be great once the construction is done.
