Views and Coos - Our day trip was blessed with good weather, lots of sun and just a bit of rain. Dave was an amazing guide, well-traveled, humorous, and a fantastic storyteller. With the group just being me and a friend, Dave personalized our itinerary to include meeting highland cows! This route is scenic and photo worthy , substantive at a leisurely pace. Highly recommend.

Amazing - My 2nd time touring with this company and didn't disappoint! Billy, our guide, was absolutely amazing! As we started out of Glasgow, he gave us so many interesting facts and history of the area and this continued thru the entire trip, Scotland is such a beautiful fascinating country with such heartbreak and perseverance. Billy made it feel like a family outing vs a tour. We had typical weather for Scotland but we didn't let that stop us from getting out and taking in all the beauty! The shops and pub we stopped at were wonderful, great hospitality! Thank you for another great adventure!

Lousy weather, magnificent landscapes, extra amusing driver - guide ! - This was the second daytrip to the Highlands my sister and I had chosen by Discover Scotland Tours. It would take us from Glasgow to Loch Lomond, Inveraray, then to Oban and all the way up to Glencoe. The weather was really lousy, rainy and windy all day long, that Thursday, 2/20/2025, but this is what the weather looks like up there. We didn’t care much anyway, because, in the Buchanan Bus Station, we were greeted by Chris, our driver – guide (and, dare I say, possibly radio producer?). A towering, smiling Glaswegian with his kilt and, above all, his humor. Even the security instructions at the very beginning of the tour were given in a funny tone, so I knew very early on that we were in for a treat. Chris was driving and, at the same time, he was telling us facts, stories and anecdotes from History, geology, art, zoology and EVERYTHING. He gave us the best address for fish and chips in Oban, he knew all his Monty Python trivia concerning the Stalker Castle (veeeery important!), gave us some extra time to find and take a picture of the imposing hairy coos at Glencoe and was friendly, yet professional, explaining the next tune he was about to play for us through the audio system of the very clean and comfortable coach he was driving for us, smoothly and steadily. He was exceptionally accompanied by a young lad, in training, sent by the company to follow the tour (rudely enough, I didn’t ask for his name. Sorry!). All in all, despite the bad weather, we had a GREAT time, because of the stunning beauty of the Scottish countryside and thanks to Chris’ good humor and sociable character. Being a tour guide myself, I could totally relate with his way of telling and doing things. Consequently, I would totally recommend the tour to anyone interested. Orestis from Greece P.S. Oh, please inform Chris, that the word “coach” does come from French, but is actually of Hungarian origin! He knows.

Amazing trip to Oban and the Western Highlands - I had an amazing time with Discover Scotland Tours on my day trip to Oban and the Western Highlands. Our tour guide jerry was very witty and engaging throughout the journey. I really loved how he could weave stories and history into introducing Scottish songs. The trip was very memorable and very reasonably priced. There were adequate stops to take pictures and enjoy the scenery around. The coach was very comfortable to travel in. Really loved the experience and it's a must try!!!

Magic - Just mind-blowing. The trip went very well, I particularly liked being in a small group, being a solo traveller, I got to meet people and get used to the Scottish accent! I highly recommend this tour to people visiting for the first time!
