Beyond what I could have wished for or imagined! - I booked this as an excursion on a cruise ship. Sergio made my tour the highlight of my vacation. His insider knowledge from working on the set gave a unique fun perspective to the day. It was beyond what I could have hoped for or imagined. He even accommodated a woman on the tour who insisted that she had to see Highland cows and even though it wasn’t on the itinerary, being an OUTLANDER tour, we made a quick photo stop on the way back to the ship. Sergio said he hadn’t missed a cruise ship yet and got us back within time with no issues. I hadn’t realized that Sercs Tours is a very small, family-run business which makes me even happier to support them. I highly recommend! *Be aware, entry fees to the castles and lunch are not included in the cost of this tour*

Berry Glad We Did it! 🍓 - Our family learned about Serca Tours through a positive video review about visiting Scotland. Our experience was every bit as positive as theirs - maybe even more! Our guide Sergio was kind, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We signed up for the Outlander tour - even though we’d never seen the series. It was recommended because it offers a good cross section of castles and sites. We can tell you firsthand that you do not have to be an Outlander fan to enjoy the tour. Even without direct knowledge of the show, we had a great afternoon seeing and experiencing the notable castles and towns. A highlight was lunch at the quaint Hayloft Tea Room in Falkland. The town was storybook beautiful, and getting to enjoy a meal prepared by these local ladies was a perfect part of our experience. In addition to hitting the tour spots, Sergio made an unexpected stop to treat everyone on the bus to freshly picked strawberries. He declared they would be the best we’d ever tasted. He was right! He also knew our daughter was looking forward to meeting a Highland Coo. He found time to divert from our planned path to drop-in to a roadside stand that had several of the fantastic animals. Our day in the Scottish Highlands was complete! From booking to disembarking - our tour was first rate. We recommend having their awesome family share their Scotland with you!

Wonderful Time - We had a faboulous time and Sergio was great!! We even saw the hairy cows, and Sergio got us vegetables to feed them! We loved the smooth whiskey and the wonderful stories and beautiful scenery!

Outstanding tour - I highly recommend this tour. My tour guide Sergio was amazing. I was the only one signed up for the tour, which they normally cancel but I expressed I was sad as I was only in Scotland two days and they did a one on one tour with me. We even stopped at an additional location. The transportation and guided history at each location was top notch. Sergio went above and beyond to give me the most memorial experience. I can’t say enough about this company - professional and caring. I highly recommend this company and the Outlander tour.

Outlander, Castles and Scottish scenery oh my!! - Due to a recommendation I booked with Serca. We absolutely LOVED Sergio and his tour. So much detail, first hand knowledge and made this day special for me. My mobility issues were not a problem and Sergio went above and beyond to provide the most amazing tour. Beautiful highland scenery, castles, a great lunch and seeing the Hairy Coos was a great way to end the day. Even if you are not and Outlander fan, you’ll love this tour.

Outlander fans Don’t Miss This Tour - I highly recommend this tour. Sergio was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He made our trip memorable.

Nice Way to See A Lot - We enjoyed seeing the castles and much of the Scottish towns and countryside. It was a nice way to see a lot of things, especially some of the less busy castles. I didn’t feel like we got a lot of information on Outlander, but we did hear a lot of general Scottish history, culture and perspective. It was A LOT of time riding in the car with only short times at the sites. But it was still overall a good experience.

A bit like of a disappointment - While Sergio was a fantastic guide, the tour was not what we expected. We thought we were booking a small car with a driver and ended up on a bus with 16 other people. This was disappointing to start. , especially for the almost $500 pounds we paid. We visited 3 sites, land a small village for lunch in a Tea Room, which was overpriced. It felt rushed and two of the castles didn’t even afford enough time to tour. We were pleased however that we did have a short quick stop to see the Highland cows which was the highlight of the tour.

Outlander Day Tour from Greenock - We did this trip as a shore excursion while on a cruise. Before the tour we were advised we would need to leave at an earlier time so the tour would not be cut short, however, despite the early departure the itinerary was varied from the description of the tour with no explanation and we did not visit Doune Castle. Our tour started with the long drive to Faulkland during which time there was very little commentary from the driver. When we arrived it was early so most places were closed eg the tea rooms and palace grounds so we had 1hr and 40 mins with not much to do. We were then driven to “Lallybroch” which was interesting- we spent about 20mins there after which we were driven to Blackness castle (Fort William). We had about 60mins there. We were then told we would drive back to the ship but because we had “extra time” we were driven past the Outlander Studios and had a tour through Glasgow. These two sites were not listed in the itinerary. We were not driven to Doune Castle and were given no explanation for this. It was not until I returned to the ship and checked the description of the tour as I felt we had missed something that I realised we had missed a site. We had to pay entry to the castles and buy our own refreshments. I do not think this is clear in the tour description and considering the price of the tour I expected this would be included. Overall the tour was quite underwhelming and disappointing. I do believe this would be a good tour had our driver stuck to the itinerary, provided some commentary on our long drive and castle entries and refreshments had been included in the price of the tour. I did contact Serca Tours via 2 emails after our tour but received no reply.
