- Glastonbury - After being collected from Bath you will be driven by private vehicle to Glastonbury, approx. 1 hour from Bath.
Walking through the centre of Glastonbury you will be shown interesting features such as the famous Glastonbury Thorn. Every Christmas a flowering sprig is taken from it and sent to the Queen.
After a private guided tour of Glastonbury Abbey you will have the option of climbing up to the Glastonbury Tor or exploring some of the town’s unique and unusual shops. You will return to Bath around 6.30pm.
- Glastonbury Abbey - Glastonbury Abbey was one of the wealthiest abbeys in the country. Exploring its picturesque gardens and ruins your private guide will tell you about its fascinating history and its links to King Arthur and Jesus.
- Glastonbury Tor - After exploring the Abbey you can choose to either climb up a hill to the Glastonbury Tor or browse some of the town’s unique and unusual shops. The Tor is one of the most famous landmarks in the region and like the Abbey has a number of fascinating legends behind it. The climb takes approx. 20 minutes and gives fantastic panoramic views of the area.

Excellent half day Glastonbury tour with historic insight - My mom and I took the half day Glastonbury Tour in August 2023. Daniel was an excellent host, great tour guide and driver. He was able to tailor the trip based on what we were looking to see and accommodate our requests. We had a lovely day checking out the sights and during the drive around the area. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to hit some historic and mythical sights in a short amount of time.

Wonderful Tour to Glastonbury - Daniel is a very friendly and well organized tour guide. He knows the area very well and even gave us advice on other sights and activities to do in Bath.
During the tour he would give us enough time to take pictures and would give more in depth information on topics we were interested in.
He also gives fast and good replies to inquiries on his website.
I also recommend going to his website to discuss pick up and drop off areas since he's pretty flexible when it comes to that.

Spiritual Retreat - The trip to Glastonbury Abbey , Glastonbury Tor, and The Chalice Well provided a truly spiritual experience. Daniel was an wonderful guide and shared all of his knowledge on the history and legends that these sacred places hold.✨

Glastonbury sacred sights tour. - The Glastonbury Tour with Daniel was excellent. His knowledge of the area, including the flora, fauna, and community, along with history and mythology, made the tour magical and educational. Daniel is a seeker who understands that history is fascinating and incomplete. As a natural storyteller, he sparks the imagination and carefully points out the clues to deeper knowledge while carefully navigating existing beliefs to give everyone space to find their personal truth. In addition to the exploration of the ruins of the abbey, Daniel included a walk up to the Tor preceded by the best part, which was the red and white springs, a magical place where the followers of earth based mysticism come for sacred ancient rituals. Thank you for making this a very special day.

Fabulous Guide in a beautiful area - Daniel is a fantastic guide. We have taken several tours with him and he is always kind, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with on these trips.
The Glastonbury tour was amazing. The city is so unique and the ruins of the Abbey are just wonderful. We climbed the Tor and the view is astounding from the top.
We are looking forward to our next tour with Daniel on our next visit to Bath.

Inspirational and Knowledable - My husband and I had an amazing time discovering Glastonbury and surrounds. Dan's expertise and knowledge of the area was unsurpassable.
Dan helped me tick a big event off my bucket list which was to climb the Tor. I though it initially was going to be an impossible task with my health condition. However, with Dan's patience inspiration and motivation he assisted my husband, and I managed to climb the Tor. As my sight fades, I will have incredible memories to hold onto. We strongly recommend Bath Insider Tours with Dan.

There is no one better than Daniel:D - There are not enough words to describe what fun it is to tour with Daniel. He is a gentleman and extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed our Stonehenge tour so much we booked an additional tour with him! Rest assured if you are on a tour with him you are going to have a wonderful time!

Amazing Afternoon in Glastonbury - We had a delightful afternoon tour of Glastonbury thanks to Daniel! He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable during the entire trip. He had a wealth of information to share about Glastonbury and the surrounding areas. He made us want to stay in the area longer and research all the interesting sites more. Personalized and inspiring! - Glastonbury has so many layers of geological and spiritual history, regardless of what you do (or don't) believe. Daniel's knowledge of the Abbey, the Chalice Well, the Tor, and the town are impressive, and fun too! He adjusted our destinations to my slower pace, and we had many cheery and thoughtful conversations throughout the afternoon. I cannot say enough good things about Daniel. It felt like visiting a very special place not with a guide but with a new friend! Thank you so much for making this experience even better than I hoped!
